Mueller’s Russian Collusion Trial Delayed 90 Days For Further Discovery
Daily Caller ^ | 5/23/2018 | Richard Pollock

The “complexity” of the case warrants excluding the speedy trial law and delaying the trial, Mueller argued in Tuesday’s court filing.
....
Former federal prosecutor and National Review Contributing Editor Andrew C. McCarthy told TheDCNF it was too late for Mueller to claim that the complexity of the case warranted a delay.
“Speedy trial rights belong to the defendant, and if the defendant pushes for a trial within the 70 days, the government has little cause to complain,” McCarthy said. “If the case was too complex, the government had the option of holding off on seeking an indictment until it was ready to proceed to trial. When a prosecutor files an indictment, it is tantamount to saying, ‘We are ready to go.'”

Because they don’t think, they just memorize what they are told to do.

Mueller has kept my bullshit meter pegged right FRom the get-go!

Have we enough prisons in America to hold all the lawbreakers who will be convicted and imprisoned when this ugly affair is concluded?

Right it’s not. It’s Herr Mueller playing dumb games. No explanation no interpretation no nothing just dump and say it’s toooooo complex!

Andrew McCarthy comments on Mueller latest tactic:

It’s “inappropriate for a prosecutor to manufacture complexity and then contend that things are too complex,” McCarthy told TheDCNF. “If a prosecutor is disclosing mountains of foreign language materials without an understanding or explanation of their relevance to the case, that is a delaying tactic and an attempt to chew up the defendant’s resources.”

The tactic “is apt to make the presiding judge very angry,” he added. “

The backstory is the indictments against Russian citizens and companies were a publicity stunt. There is no extradition treaty with Russian and nobody expected the Russians to comply in any way.

The appearance of two U.S. attorneys representing the Russians at an initial hearing was a complete surprise. Mueller’s team protested the motions for discovery filed by the opposing attorneys and ask for a long delay, and the judge immediately overruled them. Now Mueller’s team is again trying to stall, this time on proceeding to trial. It’s really an embarrassing and amateurish performance.

"It’s really an embarrassing and amateurish performance."

So far this is the most entertaining skit produced by Mueller in his "clown car of morons directed by sociopaths" Opera.

Russians must continue to push for a trial. Make Bobby show his hand. An empty one at that.

The GOP needs to come out against Mueller now.

The GOP leadership is in bed with Gestapo Müller.

Don't think of the GOP and the Democrats as the 'good guys' and the 'bad guys'.

Think of them as the 'bad guys' and the 'bad guys'.

“Obama used to teach what they called “constitutional law.””

I just wonder where he found the section allowing a Half-Black, illegal alien from Kenya to be President of the United States.

If I were a judge I would find the idea of using my court for publicity foolish and disrespectful.

“The “complexity” of the case warrants excluding the speedy trial law and delaying the trial, Mueller argued”

Oh yeah, the 6th Amendment verbiage.

“In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial.... Unless of course, the case is really complex”.

Mueller doesn’t even know speedy trial is a CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT.

The backstory is the indictments against Russian citizens and companies were a publicity stunt

The Lefties on Twitter are using the indictments in "20-plus indictments!!!" and "30-some indictments!!!" screaming tweets.

They're trying to steamroll the conservative opposition.

Mueller and the Twitter Lefties are colluding.
