I think Carter Page. His background screams CIA. Undercover CIA. He was based in Moscow for a few years. Then he came back to the US, and suddenly he’s at the center of a counterespionage investigation that led to the expulsion of a Russian diplomat and the arrest of a Russian spy. Then he conveniently shows up as a volunteer in the Trump campaign just when the FBI is looking to infiltrate it.
How did he end up as someone mentioned in the GPS dossier? Just another red-herring designed to give him cover, I think.
