“The View” cohost Meghan McCain defended the Second Amendment during a Monday panel discussion about the latest school shooting in Santa Fe, Texas. Joy Behar argued that school shootings are not about mental illness and said something needs to be done about guns, citing singer Kelly Clarkson’s comments about gun control at Sunday night’s Billboard awards.
“We’ve had this conversation before and we’re always talking about gun control. We said before, OK — AR-15s, all semi-assault rifles, if they are banned, this won’t happen. That’s obviously not accurate in this case,” McCain chimed in. “He had a pipe bomb, a molotov cocktail and a carbon dioxide device, which, by the way, are things you can make in your house.”
The shooter reportedly used a .38 revolver and a shotgun and was not in legal possession of either firearm. “It is jumped to automatically, and I would also like to say, what is it about — I know we don’t want to talk about mental illness, but what is it about young boys in our culture who are rejected by girls … and then your only option that you think is to somehow go and commit a massacre at your school against that girl?” McCain added.

Na, she is talking to McCain voters so she can get appointed to her Dad’s job....and then quickly leap to the left.
Well, she kind of touches at the War On Boys/Masculinity issue...but in a somewhat insulting way.
But I give her credit for not being a gun grabber right off the bat in this conversation.
She is trying out her acting like a conservative in preparation for getting the appointment to Dad’s Senate seat.
Don’t let her fool you like the old man did.

My suspicion is that she proclaims her support for the 2A now, then when the time is right (for the left) MM will do a 180 and stab us in the back like dear old Dad.

We should be talking about how the Media incentivizes these attacks by making celebrities out of the perpetrators.
The attacks were rare when we had semi-automatics but no media pushing them.
Add the media making celebrities out of the perpetrators and the attacks become much more common.
Can’t stand Meghan McCain but I will say at least for one she opened her mouth and made some semblance of a decent argument
