It’s absolutely incredible to watch the media attempt to downplay this — and even willingly participate in covering it up.

How far we have fallen...

Its clear the Slimes is only interested in investigative reporting when it fits their agenda. The NY Times, “Only our agenda is fit to print.”

He was there to spy, not to spy. Which is OK. Because spying on political candidates is OK. If it benefits the Democrats. Everybody does it. It’s for the children. This is old news. Can we move on?

Did the FBI also send an informant to Hilliary’s campaign? After all, they were the ones supposedly hacked by the Russians and should have their ties checked as well. Haha

If about 100,000 people showed up to loudly protest outside the offices of the NY Times, maybe this type of dishonest obfuscation would stop.

But alas, only the left is that firm in their convictions. Conservatives just bitch and moan but never take any real action at all. They treat us like hapless idiots. And we let them.

Call it an informant or a spy—what’s the difference?

The goal was to bring down Trump by any means necessary. And this was a real challenge, considering Trump’s decades of public life, in which he was never caught at any crime.

This scandal makes Watergate seem about as serious as ripping the tags off of pillows once you get them home by comparison. Using the resources of the government to spy on a candidate, attempt to frame him, and then to try to render him ineffective once elected is unspeakably corrupt and outrageous. These are actions one would expect in a dictatorship like the old USSR. What has happened to our country? (I know—Bill Clinton and Barack Obama).

... the pair had suspicious contacts linked to Russia during the campaign...

The pair were low level nobody’s who were used by the FBI to obtain a FISA warrant from a judge who apparently doesn’t mind his court being run by kangaroos.

Now we have the NYT fully admitting that the FBI SPIED on the Trump campaign. The NYT is simply justifying this based on their opinion of why they were SPYING. It doesn't matter why, it only matters that they were, and that matters greatly. The political party in power cannot spy on the campaign of their opponent.

It all starts with a limited hangout. Then they slowly admit what they must, only when forced to do so. Here’s the thing...these rogue agents worked inside an FBI that still had a vast majority of patriotic agents, who will help weed out the criminals in their midst. We are watching history unfold.

Isn't this strikingly similar to when Walter Duranty of The Times ran political cover for Joseph Stalin? Duranty became know as Stalin's apologist.

So the FBI sent spies into the Trump campaign looking for Russians!

So why didn't they send spies when Bobby Boy went to Moscow with yellow cake samples?

“Gee... we weren’t spying on you. How could you suggest such a thing? We were just investigating what you were doing.”

The FBI should be dismantled. It has no reputation left.
The people behind this should be hung for treason.

This is the second story in this vein. An earlier FR post was from the Washington Post:

The FBI didn’t use an informant to go after Trump. They used one to protect him. [WasPo garbage]

So the narrative has shifted from "Trump is crazy, there was no spy," to "Trump is crazy, they weren't spying on him, they were protecting him."

If that is so, then why the Mueller investigation?
