Nice map. It will be interesting to see how the win by the Shia cleric in Iraq will play out in Iran, perhaps is already inspiring some of the revolt there or even part of planned action. What most people don’t realize is that there are significant Shia populations in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Syria, and Iraq. It is the main cause of the Yemen fighting. Kind of like Catholics vs. Protestants 400 years ago. Those who do not learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them.
