Cool.
I can't wait for the fastest growing, largest-population economies to realize that and stop growing and trading with each other.
I'd hate to have them realise too late that fear and isolation is the real recipe for prosperity.
I'll stick with Hamilton and Washington and you can stay with Marx, a devout Free Trader.
"Hamilton explained that despite an initial "increase of price" caused by regulations that control foreign competition, once a "domestic manufacture has attained to perfection
it invariably becomes cheaper." George Washington signed the Tariff Act of 1789, making it the Republic's second ever piece of legislation. Increasing the domestic supply of manufactured goods, particularly war materials, was seen as an issue of national security. Washington and Hamilton believed that political independence was predicated upon economic independence.[11]"
Weve had relatively low tariffs for a long time.
Weve also been the strongest, most dynamic economy during that period.
Why are you so afraid that we cant continue to win?
We have stagnant wages and 60 million not in the work force. Strategically, we are f'd with 40,000 factories closed in the last 30 years and we cannot sustain our own military in a protracted conflict with real attrition. We don't even make consumer electronics anymore in the USA and I could list a hundred other things. But this doesn't bother you because you are a globalist and not a nationalist and definitely not a patriot. I will not change your mind. You have to be defeated politically, and if that doesn't work, beaten in a civil war. You Free Traitors screwed us big time AND WE KNOW IT. It's just we never had a champion before that would stand up for us.
I predict Globalism will one day be thrown on the ash heap of history like it's brothers communism and fascism. Hopefully peacefully but maybe not.
Federal law violation....... falsely claiming a trademaark is not only a lie but a violation of federal law
Central-va is a pure unadultrated hoax
Bwhahahahaha
People didn't want it much to start with and they wanted it even less after a while; the Avalanche is listed on several "Famous Auto Flops" lists.
Fine! I have loved both of ours. I have a “slide out” in the current one that I can use as a workbench when I am at one of our properties, I can pull our Airstream Trailer, and it offers exceptionally good all-leather seating for five. So I actually don’t give a $hit if it didn’t sell, except that I’d like to buy another one when this one gets 200,000 miles on it like the last one did. And FWIW, the Chevrolet LS engine is bulletproof, makes good horsepower and torque and when teamed with the GM six-speed automatic and FWD, it can’t be beat. Neither Ford nor Dodge have never had anything like it. It’s too bad it became a niche product. Besides both of them have front ends on their pickups that look like juke boxes.
Do what everyone else did - just buy a regular crew cab Silverado and save $7-10K. :P The midgate didn’t offer much that people wanted and there wasn’t any other compelling reason to buy an Avalanche over a similarly equipped crew cab Silverado.
Also, your Avalanche was made in Mexico, IIRC. :P (Just FYI, “FWD” means *front* wheel drive, not four wheel drive. That’s usually abbreviated 4WD. If you have a FWD Avalanche, your 4WD system is really broken and you should get that fixed.)
