It will be interesting to find out when their “source” BEGAN providing information. Was it before that fateful “chance” meeting in that London bar between Papadopoulos and Downer?
Rush said last week in a brief aside (which he never got back to) that he thinks Brennan was the leader of the coup.
Since Rush didn’t elaborate, I don’t know what he meant by “leader.”
But what I’ve seen leads me to believe that Brennan was the first to start investigating the Trump campaign, in early 2016, and then Brennan got the other spy agencies involved.
Maybe that’s what Rush meant.

Comey has given the answer - listen to him talk about Clapper and Brennan. Clapper “directed him to tell the President about the dossier” and he did this to provide the hook for the CNN article that led to Buzzfeed publishing the contents. He testified to this under oath. He only briefed part of the dossier and not the entire thing because it “did not serve his purpose.” There was not nearly enough follow-up on what his “purpose” was, but it was pretty clear listening to it in context that he only did this at the direction of Clapper. It was the purpose of Clapper?
I think when the whole story comes out it will be shown that the FBI did not “direct” this fiasco - they were willing accomplices who answered other puppet masters. At some point, there are several people in the intel community and within DOJ who are going to have to decide - continue the cover-up (it’s not working largely due to Nunes and Grassley) or come clean with the American people about what happened and let the chips fall where they will. The cover-up would be worse, but they just can’t seem to help themselves right now.

Yes just about everything we have learned has come from Nunes and Grassley committees with a big assit from Tray Grody and a few good investigative reporters.
Jeff Sessions and director Wray have done everything they could to stonewall the investigation. Both should be fired along with Rosenstein.
All the more reasons to fire Rosenstein and Sessions, as they are in contempt of Congress. This act by Trump would be supported by the American people. Trump can also order the declassification of these files. Maybe he is waiting to do this as we get closer to the fall elections.

Given the size and complexity of the Clinton campaign, the reason is simple. There is staff. They leave no tone unturned.
