The old conventional wisdom: What if Democrats take back both chambers of Congress this fall?
The new conventional wisdom: What if Republicans never lose another election?
Seriously, its a cinch that the GOP will lose House seats this fall. The growing mystery is whether theyll lose enough to actually return Nancy Pelosi to power. Yesterday CNN found the Democratic advantage on the generic ballot down to three points. Today Reuters finds it down to one. Given the feelgood spectacle this morning of Trump and Pence greeting American hostages on their return home from North Korea, its quite possible that a poll next week will show the GOP even or ahead! on the generic ballot. On Christmas Day 2017, they trailed by 13 points on average.

Some wave, LOL!
Drip. Drip. Drip. ;)
Schmucky .. The ultimate putz ..
Same “Poll” trick as 2016.
If we've learned anything the last few years, its that pundits lie, or at best follow the herd, and media give absolutely fake analysis to push a particular narrative. We also know that much of the American public knows this, and in turns, lies to pollsters.
Chuck-U is actually complaining about the celebration of the homecoming of the American hostages.
He actually said it should have been accepted not “exalted.”
So the Democrat Minority Leader is saying Americans should not have felt joy over their sons coming home?
What a putz. No wonder the Democrats generic ballot lead has vanished. They keep stepping into it.
With everything they’re doing - all these unforced errors of theirs, they unintentionally make the cade for retention of GOP control of Congress.
They’re out of touch with Middle America - and without it, they won’t have that Blue Wave wet dream of theirs come true in November for them.
I was trying to remember if any American hostages have EVER been returned home during a Democrat administration......thinking, thinking, thinking....
Can’t think of one time.
The propaganda polls and ballot box fraud wouldnt be much of a concern if we got rid of the ill-conceived 17th Amendment.
The 16th Amendment can disappear too.
and the 19th
WHY AREN’T THEY UP BY 50 POINTS?
I think we might flip some D house seats...a Red wave?
