I am not clear on what was requested. I am dubious that this excuse that we cant reveal “sources and methods” is way over worked. Like Trump , I would never jeopardize the life of a government spy but I do question why they were embedded in the Trump campaign. That is illegal without a warrant and I want to know what probable cause was to motivate a judge to permit deep state spies inside our campaign. This entire effort is sedition to it’s core. The American people see it and the backlash is growing daily. It was a threat to the constitution and our entire country. I heard today that the democrat lead in the polls for the mid term is now GONE!!

It appears there is a deep state destabilization campaign being actively waged against President Donald J. Trump. This would include the Müller “investigation.”

This is dubious because Mueller has been running his smear and financial ruin scheme on Carter Page.
Not to mention it would be ludicrous for the FBI to obtain and then renew FISA requests on their own source - right? I mean they would have to reveal this relationship to the judge - right? Plus Page was essentially inserted close to Trump’s campaign by recommendation of Christopher Cox ( Nixon’s son-in-law) so who was playing who in that pyramid?

Apparently, the “small group” cabal in the FBI sent Carter Page to the Trump campaign as a setup. Page’s background in Russia, and former contacts with known Russian intelligence operatives, could be used to meet the threshold needed to get a surveillance warrant on him - and therefor two hops out from him (anyone who communicated with anyone who communicated with Page). They likely had Page email key people within the campaign, just to justify their spying on them.
The whole thing was a setup from the very beginning. The purpose was to fix the election - either by discovering some dirt, or by illegally spying on the opposing campaign every day, like Watergate on steroids.
The Mueller investigation, if nothing else, has (corruptly) given Democratic operatives unprecedented forensic detail into every aspect of the Trump campaign, so the Democrats can tailor their attacks during future campaigns - and identify significant Trump supporters for systematic intimidation or destruction.
The FBI and DOJ, like so much of the rest of the Federal Government, was corrupted to partisan political benefit during the Obama Administration.
They are evil, and need to be punished, if we are to preserve rule of law in the USA.
It seems like the Washington Post is INSIDE Mueller’s team. The continuous stream of leaks is evidence in itself that the investigation is politically driven witch hunt.
While Sessions recused himself from the investigation, this does not absolve him from his responsibility to ensure the integrity of ALL investigations being carried out under the DOJ’s purview.
Its inexcusable that Sessions is not doing anything to get Mueller to stop the leaks. That is not interfering with the investigation; its merely enforcing the need for integrity, honesty and fairness in the investigative process and the conduct of its investigators.
Sessions is a disaster for the agency he heads, the country’s system of justice, and the president he supposedly works for. He is a disgrace.

There is an article in the WSJ Opinions page suggesting that the WaPo knows who it is already and it appears that this source has also talked to the WaPo. They also state that they THINK they know who it is but can’t confirm and won’t say until it is confirmed. However they also give some hints. Chief among them is Who would stand to gain by preventing this info from getting out? Obviously that’s not a hint if the answer is Carter Page.
They also suggest that this person has worked overseas. Also they say the outing would further provoke Republicans. It says that the WaPo reports on a White House-DOJ discussion that involved only a few individuals. They must be high level people.
Not sure who that could be. Possibly Lynch or Brennan. But I suspect it’s Hillary or John Kerry. Or in my wildest dreams Barack Obama.
