Thank goodness those hunting rifles and side-by-sides have been taken off the streets. I feel safer already.

Since guns are not illegal in Nebraska, why would “amnesty” need to be offered?

That Daisy Powerline pneumatic pump air rifle, too - small birds are safer today.

Those revolvers look ancient. Like they haven’t been fired in decades. Looks like some people were just cleaning out their gun cabinets to make room for new purchases.

Hence Sasse.
Not to mention the unmentionable Hegel.

I think if a weapon can be traced to a crime, it can’t be used as evidence against the person turning it in. Sounds like a great way to dispose of a crime gun.

More helpless targets. Probably liberals.

That Daisy Powerline pneumatic pump air rifle, too - small birds are safer today. My guess is that of the 70,000 rounds of ammunition turned in, around 60,000 were .177 pellets, 9,000 rounds of .22 LR, and a thousand or so centerfire rounds.

crosman bb gun, muzzleloader, looks like the antique pistol might be worth some bucks

When are they having an amnesty for crooked cops and school superintendents? That would probably save even more lives.

felons aren’t allowed to have them- so the police hoped felons would turn in their guns- they are naive

Hmmm. Amnesty in the sense that if the firearm was proven to have been used in a crime, the owner/possessor would not be prosecuted?

There are a lot better ways than handing it over to the cops. Any nearby lake will do.

Were the guns given amnesty to people who treated them with respect? No? Then it’s not gun amnesty.

Some citizen looking for free ammunition and guns should set up civilian run ‘gun turn in day’ lol

The police will likely destroy the 70,000 rounds of ammunition, due to liability concerns.

Suppose you turn in a gun and it escapes from police custody and is used in a crime. Oops.

I don’t think the tie straps on the double barrels are doing anything.
