Planned Parenthood Spending $30 Million on Mid-term Elections
The New American ^ | 23 April 2018 | James Donlon

Posted on 04/23/2018 2:54:29 PM PDT by detective

Planned Parenthood is once again proving its hunger for powerful allies in government positions. GOP control of the Senate is narrow, and with the upcoming Senate races, the power balance could tip in favor of Democrat, pro-abortion advocates. Planned Parenthood knows this, of course, and will be pouring a reported $30 million into abortion advocacy through its political arm. This money will be spent on Senate and gubernatorial races in a number of states, including Arizona, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and will be used to fund TV and digital ads, direct-mail campaigns, and even advocacy in the public square.

It is appalling that an organization that receives taxpayer money from the government is spending $30 million to directly influence state and federal elections. Planned Parenthood ostensibly follows the law regarding this situation since the money is funneled through the affiliated Planned Parenthood Votes before lining the pockets of politicians. At any rate, the IRS has never been known to give the abortion provider trouble the likes of how it specifically targeted conservative political activist organizations by withholding tax-exempt status.

PP is the front and center example of how the RAT party is simply one big criminal enterprise and pretty much always has been. This is the best example of a political money laundering operation outside of the so-called stimulus bills once RATS get elected that are meant to pay off donors and supporters.

For the life of me, I can’t understand how ANY Republican could support PP funding in any way. It is designed to defeat them the next election.

There are 23 dems up in the Senate....only 8 Republicans.

Plus the two so-called Independents, Angus King of Maine and Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

I can’t see these child killers overcoming those odds.

Good Point. $500 million of our tax money in the recent budget given to Planned Parenthood. Outrageous.

Any company that takes taxpayer money should be prohibited from spending money on campaigns.

How is this not money laundering?

They get 500 mil a year in taxpayer dollars and kickback 30 mil to the politicals that make it happen while pocketing 470 mil.

Am I the only one that sees something wrong in this?

ok. Let’s say the gOP keeps both houses of Congress. Trump can make them an offer they can’t refuse: One years pay. Just resign NOW. Be off the payroll by the end of the pay period.

*************************************************************Because it is not a Dem-Rep issue. Most of the Republicans are corrupt, bought, globalist lackeys who do the work of their donor-owners. They’ve been re-elected many times, thanks to massive propaganda, brain-washing, and pre-rigged voting machines.

Planned Parenthood knows this, of course, and will be pouring a reported $30 million into abortion advocacy through its political arm..

Planned parent hood receives federal money for their abortion clinics. This frees up money from other legitimate sources to be used for political purposes. The federal money can only be used to fund the clinics. If the clinics receive 30 million from the federal government it frees up 30 million from non government organizations and individuals to be used politically. In effect the federal government is subsidizing their political campaigns. Money like oil is fungible with a few deft accountants it can all be done and most unfortunately is 100% legal.

The real irony and this is obscene, planned parent hood is the conservatives best friend. A huge percentage that use their abortion services are lower socioeconomic class and hard core democrat voters. Planed parenthood is literally killing their political base. As mentioned this is obscene but is reality.

Remind me again why the government gives them money? So they can plow it back into partisan political campaigns?

If instead of Planned Parenthood buildings in your area these were pro-life, pro-NRA,pro-Judeo Christian value places or GOP candidates’ private homes then they would be fair game for violent Antifa feminist BLM leftist ranting and shouting attackers who then would toss fire bombs.

We simply fold our hands quietly and shake our heads.

Who are the smart ones?

By the way: do you really innocently believe the left will allow GOP candidates for office to have town meetings, meet the voter gatherings and rallies? Really????

"GOP control of the Senate is narrow, and with the upcoming Senate races, the power balance could tip in favor of Democrat, pro-abortion advocates."

Repeal the ill-conceived 17th Amendment so that the feds stop spending money on things that the states have never given them the specific power to tax and spend for — like abortion.

The 16th Amendment can disappear too.

.
The 16th was never even close to ratified.

The NYT declared it ratified without any knowledge of reality.

Yea, all true, but an American citizen who was trained early to see the Democrats as “the party of the poor and the common man” can rarely be converted.
