And then walked it back. But why, since she's canadian and didn't vote. Sheesh. Prop up half your base, piss off half your base.

Now I’m done with her too. Too bad she just didn’t shut up and sing. Lost all interest in Faith Hill too for the same reason. Two more beautiful entertainers whom I’ve crossed off my list.
Too bad. She should think before she tells us her politics.

Not very Canadian of her. She must have missed the memo where she’s supposed to hate Rob Lowe now.

> “I would have voted for him because, even though he was offensive, he seemed honest,” Twain said. <
Dumb ol’ Shania thought that she could appease the liberal fascists by simply adding the “even though he was offensive” part.
She thought wrong.

As is almost ALWAYS the case, they don’t get political until AFTER they’ve got zillions in the bank.

Prop up half your base, piss off half your base.We have to acknowledge that we must make allowances, in all professions, when judging success, whether entertainers or politicians, for those who are both successful, and lack character, and permanent fundamental convictions.

She Dixie Chicked herself. She pissed off her fan base to appease a handful of people who don't even listen to her music.

I haven’t liked her in years. Had a relative who was chosen to sing with her at a concert. Twain didn’t meet or thank her afterward. Just took off. Very rude.

If Twain can apologize for a vote she never cast, I can apologize for purchasing Twain's music which I never purchased. I would be very sorry if I had ever done such a stupid thing.
Pardon me while I go put on a Tammy Wynette record.

I’m pretty sure that apologies such as that from Shania are a necessity for their careers, though it likely was not a heartfelt apology. She still would have the same thoughts about Trump, and she probably should have kept her mouth shut to begin with, just like all singers and actors and celebrities should too.

I don't get it. When I hear someone spew hate about Trump, I ask what they don't like. I get the usual "he mistreats women', to which I replay: "You mean, like Bill Clinton?"
Crickets.
If you look at his policies and what's happened, there's nothing to bitch about, so they go after personal traits about him. In one year he did more for blacks than Obozo ever did...just look at their unemployment rates now versus the previous eight years. True, he jacked up transfer payments to the unproductive by 32% during his reign, but which is better: a handout or a job? Believe it or not, most prefer a job. "Hope and Change"? What a crock...worst years under that clown since Carter.

Just think if he manages a peace treaty with the norks after all these years with just a cease fire in place. Nice.
