Double standard? FBI agent who leaked under Comey, McCabe going to prison

Btw, ya think this FBI agent will be the last person to be fired in disgrace and or prosecuted?

DC Institutions have taken a major hit. It's not a few 'fringe' groups that don't trust DC... it's most of us. So yes, people will be fired. And that needs to extend to the 'intelligence services'... That said - for me - the tipping point came years ago when 75 FBI agents went to Ferguson to attack the credibility of local police BASED ON THE WORDS OF CRIMINALS.

If the FBI had sent 5 people - and they found something - anything - then they could have called for the other 70 to come in and help.

The way it was handled caused the War on Cops ... which is still going on today and effects all of us. No one was reprimanded or fired over that choice. No apologies were made to the public. The FBI has blood on their hands from that time.

But yes, this situation will be treated differently because too many people are watching. And a lot of us are getting worried we might be living in the early stages of a police state. The FBI needs the trust and faith of the American people to function easily. They're teetering on the brink of losing that...

Hopefully innocent people will NOT be fired to keep up appearances. That would be worse. Scarier.

People in the FBI took it upon themselves to negate the vote of the American People. THAT IS POLICE STATE STUFF...

It is. I'd guess in many cases they were calling the shots in D.C. They could be intimidating. Look at the comment from Schumer; “Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you”. I find that to be an amazing comment from Schumer.

And I agree on the war on cops. But it goes way back before Ferguson. Ferguson just reignited it. Obamas whole crowd fanned the flames during the riots of the Obama era. It also got 5 cops shot to death in Dallas.

It was a threat - plain and simple.

Schumer AND David Ignatius used that comment when talking about people like Trump who were talking of standing up to the goons in our government. Someone should do a cartoon putting the words in Putin's mouth... so the sick effers in "intelligence (and Washington Post types)' can see what they've turned into.
