I listened to the 911 call. The manager didn’t ‘Two Black men’, she said two men.
She was in her right to ask/axe them to leave.
She was in her right to call police if they refused.
Them being arrested, waaaay overboard. Escorting them out should have been sufficient.
These stores having ‘Free WiFi’ are just asking for freeloaders.
Last time I was in Barnes and Noble they knocked you off WiFi after 30 min at their coffee bar.

If you include white hispanics, there are 246 million whites in this country. There are 42 million Blacks. If we were the problem, they’d know it.

I’ve never sat in a store for hours without purchasing anything. I don’t go into McD’s while traveling and use their restrooms without buying SOMETHING. I figure I owe them the courtesy. And if a store owner asks me to leave, which is rare...I leave without arguing. Because it is their store & their property.
I’ve just described how white privilege has worked for me for 60 years. From what I’ve seen, blacks who accept the terms of ‘white privilege’ - self-control - are then treated as if they have white privilege too.
My brown Filipina wife also has lived by those rules of ‘white privilege’, and she is treated with respect.
Maybe ‘white privilege’ is just what happens when one obeys the Golden Rule. Not the White Rule, or the Black Rule, but the Golden Rule:
