Does anyone realize how huge this is?
If NK and SK reunite, or maintain close ties and end the stalemate that has existed since 1953, it would arguably be the greatest foreign policy achievement since President Polk negotiated the Oregon Territory with Great Britain.
I was going to post a vanity on this, but decided not to hog JimRob's bandwidth and leave it on an existing thread. Donald Trump, assuming if he can get NK to the negotiating table and they bargain in good faith and are sincere, would even surpass The Gipper in terms of Presidential hierarchy.

I would say since Reagan/Bush manipulated the fall of the Soviet Union without firing a shot but let's not quibble. I think at some point it could be possible for North and South to re-unite but I think that would take years of normalized relations and probably would not happen under an 8 year Trump presidency. However, it could certainly be set in motion right now.
