Air pollution is not a noticeable problem anywhere I've been in California.

The real problem is what the environazis call pollution.

Wood smoke from fireplaces is not pollution; its totally beneficial to our bodies. It actually relieves lung congestion.

obviously the pollution is coming in from bordering states that are lacking strict environmental regulations.

I lived here in California during the 1970s.

These folks haven’t got a clue how clean California is today comparatively.

Is the air perfect. I wouldn’t say so, but any area with a population this size is going to have some air issues.

It sort of like all the rain in California ending the drought a year ago, all reservoirs nearly full, massive flooding, and the state government declaring the drought wasn’t over.

These folks need something to harp about. They can’t get enough attention if things are okay.

if calif got rid of several million illegal aliens:
the air quality would improve
water shortage improve
housing shortage would improve
cost to taxpayers for illegal schooling jail housing benefits etc would improve
employment and wages, standard of living
for legal immigrants citizens would improve

only downside for Brown is less democrat inclined people

Agreed.
That was my point is even LA right now is vastly improved from way it was.
The Capital of Bali is worse that all of CA combined.

No kidding. We had an LA Times reporter interview our high school cross country team regarding smog in the mid-70s. It was a lot worse then.

Pulled some data from https://www.arb.ca.gov/adam/trends/trends1.php for ozone at local mesurement site. Levels are less than half those from the late 70s.

If only they had anything to do with anything, good at least. Yes I know it was sarcasm.

I say piss on the Lung Association. I have lived in SoCal all my life, I vividly remember these days Image and video hosting by TinyPic

That is what it was like most days, now it's an occasional occurrence. Maybe if California had Hurricanes and Tornadoes like other states we wouldn't have any smog days at all. Hell if Moonbeam and the democraps are successful there won't be any industry left except for pot farms and other agriculture, and no people so no cars and suddenly Moonbeams wet dream will come true.

...and with a populace that is probably much larger, and much more poor foreign national.

This story is Posted on Mainstream Media Site and the comments from the Liberals put the blame on (1) POTUS Trump, (2) Republicans, (3) Coal, (4) Internal Combustion Vehicles (Big Oil) and (5) Climate Change (aka) Globull Warming.

Apparently all these Cities were Garden of Eden’s until January 20, 2017.

As soon as POTUS Trump rejected the Paris Climate Accords all of Obama’s “Climate” accomplishments went to hell. Eight Years work down the tubes in just One Year. LOL

If they just went with Jethro Bodine’s idea of putting big Fans on the Southern CA Hilltops and sucking* / blowing* the Smog into the Desert back in the 60’s, we wouldn’t be having this discussion today.

“Please note, this comment has nothing to do with Stormy Daniels.
