Why is it so hard to understand? It is all so TRANSPARENT!

The GOPe is all for open borders and UN-balanced free trade! Again it is so transparent. They stay in power with mega contributions from their mega-rich donors, not the middle class posting on FR. And those donors dictate the GOPe.

Then comes along Trump who does not need need those mega donors and on top of that he wants to look out for America first...meaning the 80% in the middle.

You should like our governor, too.....GOP Paul LePage, the most conservative governor in the country.

Unfortunately, his term is up in January and he can’t run this year because of term limits. He said he might run again in four years. A third term is OK, it just can’t be consecutive under Maine law.

Gov. LePage pushed through Constitutional Carry three years ago. The GOP controlled State Senate voted for it and so did the democrat controlled Maine House. Another thing to like about The Pine Tree State.

We have an historic opportunity to gain several Senate seats and marginalize the influence of these turncoats. But, as of now, Susan Collins and the like essentially has control of the Senate.

Moreover, the “investigation” doesn’t have to stop but it needs to investigate something instead of creating things to investigate like it is doing now. An overseer that removes people who have conflicts of interest, keeps the probe narrowed on what it is supposed to be investigating, etc. If there is no collusion, it needs to be brought to an end...not continue to “investigate” to create process crimes like what happened with Scooter Libby - the investigation should have been over by that point.

Whoops-— she said she wasn’t going to run for Governor— that was it. And, that she could do the most to Maine by staying in Washington (oops, or was that FOR Maine).

This is NO republican not even in name— these types are all adrift now McCain is fading. The machinery doesn’t give her the right talking points in the destroying repub party.

Cannot wait for the unrolling of the whole massive dirty and perverted story of what the clintons, obamaumaos and their enablers in the congress... have wrought on the American people. Praying for the first indictments (and the “flippers” state’s evidence).

LePage running for re-election?

I’m not a fan of the Bushes either, but Barbara Bush helped establish a children’s hospital in Portland, Maine that bears her name.

Also, when our conservative governor Paul LePage ran for re-election in 2014, Barbara Bush did commercials on TV supporting his re-election, calling governor Lepage “One of a kind.”

I hope you’re right about Susan Collins not running for re-election....that would be big news here in Maine and I would like to see her out of Washington.

The narrative is blunted with a GOP win. It is ground to a halt with a big GOP win. However, it gains unlimited momentum with a GOP loss. And some GOP would vote for removal with a big GOP loss saying “the people” have spoken and want the President gone...with many so-called Trump supporters helping this right along by sitting on their hands and allowing the Left to crawl back into power, piece by piece. It doesn’t have to be that way, but people are asleep at the switch...otherwise, it is not outside the realm of possibility to make substantial gains in the Senate and hold the House at current numbers.

If it is someone else in a position at the DOJ that already had to be confirmed by the Senate to that position, would they have to be confirmed again or could they just be moved to that position? It is not a cabinet level position like the top spot.

There is a very active investigation regarding that now in Little Rock, Arkansas. Whether anything will come of that, who knows.

“LePage running for re-election?”
___________________________________

Unfortunately, Gov. LePage can not run for re-election. He was elected in 2010 and re-elected in 2014. He is term limited.

Under Maine law, LePage or any future governor CAN run for a third term, it just can’t immediately follow the end of his second term.

LePage has said he might run again in 2022 if the next governor “messes things up.”

I was hoping LePage would run for the U.S. Senate this Fall and challenge Angus King for that Senate seat.

A year or two ago, LePage was on talk radio strongly hinting that he was going to run for the U.S. Senate in 2018.

A number of months ago, LePage said that he wasn’t interested. “The Senate never gets anything done, and I’m a do-er.” Oh well.

I know that President Trump has asked LePage to run for the U.S. Senate, but to no avail. LePage said he wants to concentrate on getting his programs through here in Maine rather than concentrate on a Senate run.

There have been rumors that his wife Anne might run for the Senate, but nothing concrete so far. She spends a lot of time working with the wounded warriors, including skydiving with them.

Mitch McConnell has been using parliamentary tricks to keep the Senate in session even when they are all on break so Trump cannot make interim appointments. McConnell has been doing this since Trump took office and after the first time the Press has not reported it.

And not a single so called republican has said one word about it.

“Barbara Bush helped establish a children’s hospital in Portland, Maine that bears her name.”

Barbara Bush is on her last legs. She has been hospitalized repeatedly of late, and has now refused any further medical intervention. She is at home “resting comfortably.” Her husband George will outlive her.

It will be funny to see the MSM praise the Bushes to the gills when they pass on when they treated them like crap when they were in power.

The Clinton Foundation is under serious investigation by the FBI field office in Little Rock. The Clintons are despised there and a US Attorney appointed by Trump will be in charge of prosecuting the case.

The Little Rock field office, by all accounts, is champing at the bit.

I have a huge problem with it—we’re paying for this fraud.

When is *someone* going to demand that Mueller produce an accounting that we, who are stuck with the tab, can see?
