A soon-to-be-released updated edition of an Advanced Placement (AP) U.S. History textbook teaches students that white Christian Americans are finding it “difficult to adjust” to becoming a minority and puts forward the perception that President Donald Trump’s election occurred because his apparent “racism connected with a significant number of primary voters.”
James Fraser’s By the People: A History of the United States, 2ndEdition, is published by Pearson and has a 2019 copyright date.
Alex Clark – co-host of the Indiana-based morning radio Joe and Alex Show– tweeted photos of the cover and several pages of the book that she reports were sent to her by a friend in Minnesota.
“In case you didn’t think there was an effort going on in public schools to indoctrinate kids with an anti-conservative agenda, a friend of mine took pictures and highlighted parts of this AP US History book,” she wrote. “She says, ‘This was the new ‘sample’ AP US HISTORY book sent to my school. The chapter mentions Bengazi [sic] (no ACTUAL details what happened) and mentions her ‘private email server.’”
The book pages that were photographed included a paragraph that describes Trump’s cabinet as wealthy, and “largely white males, more so than any presidential cabinet since Ronald Reagan.”

Any Parent who sends their kids to Public School should be charged with abuse.
Private school students also take AP courses. The curriculum is the same.

One big problem for the schools is the consolidation of the textbook industry. It used to be that when picking out textbooks for my jr. high history classes, I’d have dozens to choose from. Five years ago, there were fewer than five, and most of them were from the same publishers.

Some of the early pages of Vol 1 have not been updated since 1930, so the mentions of things scientific are a bit off by today’s standards; interesting, however, to read what science thought in the 20s & 30s. For instance, dinosaurs were thought to have roamed the earth 50,000 years ago.
Why would whites want to become a minority? For what reason would any sane group of people relish this idea?
It is difficult to adjust from being a free people to having to live under the rule of cultures that continue to enslave people to this day, and will likely enslave us, once they achieve power.
So the history book. has it about right.
This private school student never took this crap. Our teachers were mostly rightwing zealots aka normal people.
I don’t have any issues with Black or Asian Churchgoers,I hope more diverse people accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I remember looking at my daughters history book back in the early 2000’s.
There was one entire chapter on The Rapist in Chief, and only one chapter to cover all of the other 42 Presidents

I raised 4 kids as a single dad. All 4 were in private K-12, then public college.
I put 6 grandkids thru private school and in a few years I’ll be paying a private school to accept my 1st great grandkid.
