US President Donald Trump has hailed an overnight military strike on Syria as "perfectly executed", adding: "Mission Accomplished".

The US, UK and France attacked three government sites, targeting what they said were chemical weapons facilities.

More than 100 missiles struck in response to a suspected deadly chemical attack on the town of Douma last week.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said he condemned the Western strikes "in the most serious way".

No casualties. Whatever we were targeting got hit, and Russia gets to play their condemnation act.

Can we call it good and step back?

I have a few passing thoughts from “Just some stupid dude on the internet”.

Which is me. I’m the stupid dude on the internet. Just in case you were wondering.

We get our information from several sources. Sources, mind you.

Associated Press, Reuters, and internet bloggers.

Some internet bloggers look like real news sources. And good for them, they are doing a great job and I watch them whenever possible. I like them. Alex Jones ? I like him. He does his job but he also “does his job” with a flair to make money. But that makes him no different than the “Professionals”. It’s all a bunch of garbage.

And we get our news from these garbage sources. They are either anti-America or they are kinda flakey, kinda unstable bloggers. Where else does the news come from ? Unstable bloggers or anti-america “journalists”.

Trump ignores these sources. And I’m happy he does. Everyone is ticked off because he is acting poorly based on information that WE possess. But what about the information that HE possesses ?

Who is going to compare Matt Drudge to American intelligence, on the ground, sending photos and videos of places directly to the situation room ? We don’t get those videos and photos. We don’t get those reports. We don’t even know these people.

Trump is not in Syria for “no good reason”. Mattis is for this, and he (As well as just about every other general I’ve seen) are pretty smart guys. Hell, Even Wesley Clark is smart (Although he’s an evil f*ck who needs to be keel hauled over and over again until there is nothing left)

In 2017 he wanted to stop him from gassing people. He didn’t know where the weapons were being made, so he went after the airports and airforce that deployed them. Good on him. Still didn’t know where the weapons were coming from, but he took out the delivery system pretty quickly (What was that, a month into his presidency ?)

So why do we want to attack Syria and put troops there ? Likely because Russia doesn’t want us to. That’s all, as “just some dude on the internet” I can tell you that I know that I don’t get the full picture. AS a “dude on the internet who used to work at the lowest levels of the intelligence community” I CAN tell you with total, complete and utter confidence that there is more going on.

What if these targets were providing Russia with chemical weapons to smuggle into Mexico and over our border ? You are aware that over the past few years 4 thefts of either fissile material, nuclear warheads or raw radioactive material have disappeared from Mexico and are about 80% on U.S. Soil right now, right ?

Look at his work in getting rid of Russian operatives, as well as Britain (Who by the way is way, way more f*cked up than we are when it comes to false flags and using military forces to kill farmers) and then using the military to strengthen the southern border. The man and his cabinet have a plan and they have a reason for that plan.

We’re all just some dudes on the internet who think we know the whole story. Or that we know something he doesn’t.

What ever happened to the impenetrable S400 cordon that was going to shoot down “every single missile”? Or does that only work against passenger airlines on a straight course at 30,000 feet?

You’re right. Let’s spend 17 years and hundred of billions of dollars there because it has worked so well for us elsewhere. /s

It WAS a perfect mission — a staged, made-for-TV production with a bunch of prominent names included in the credits ... Trump, Putin, Assad, etc.

This is a really nice way of disposing of older Cruise Missiles that should be used anyway.

Lobbing Cruise missiles into yet another Arab dictatorial regime accomplishes absolutely nothing.

When you inform your enemies (Russia) that you intend to bomb empty buildings sometime this week, you give the bast**ds time to shuffle things around and ensure that the damage from them will be minimal.

That is not how Arab or Russian regimes function.

Yet, we are proud of our Western tradition and reducing collateral damage.

Rogue regimes and Evil one like Putin’s laugh it off and always have.

It’s like the line in “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” where Eli Walach says: “If you’re going to shoot, shoot, don’t talk”.

In Russian and Arab terms this means only one thing - if you’re going to drop bombs kill anything and everything within the impact envelope. THAT works and that is what they have been doing for years. Actually, the Russians did this very effectively in WWII. The US did too but that was before...Vietnam.

So, Russia, Iran, Hizbollah and Assad’s troops brush this one off saying, “those silly Americans, don’t they know how to kill”?.

These dangerous regimes will continue along their merry way and eventually will dominate the region.

The only country that does effective damage to them is Israel and she is way to small to handle these dark forces alone.

Some say, it’s not our fight, get out, ignore it.

For those who wish to ignore Russia and Iran, it is just a matter of time before America’s VITAL interests are jeopardized...

If you trust in our intel agencies at this point, you are beyond hope.

This was a clear and obvious false flag, and Trump’s info is so limited that he doesn’t really see any option beyond going with what his intel agencies and department of defense tell him.

Like every other lacky president we have had, to differing degrees, since and other than Kennedy and Reagan.

If you trust the congenitally lying KGB filth running one party state fascist Russia, you are beyond hope. Sorry, had to fix it for you.

I have to say the Russkies really lost the plot claiming Featherweight Theresa May had launched a false flag chemical warfare attack in Syria. I’ve never heard anything so ridiculous in my life.

So what you’re saying is that it’s stupid to trust in the career intelligence professionals that number in the 1000s and have direct contact with the POTUS..

... when I could be smart and see what everyone on Youtube has to say ?

This may well be true. Meanwhile, anyone who expresses skepticism is now considered a potential Russian troll and should be silenced. And I guess that now includes AMERICAN PATRIOTS such as me. I’ve sacrificed a lot for my country and it’s a sad day to be considered a Russian troll.

I watched at least a dozen, and possibly more, Tomahawk cruise missiles being shot down.

Occupation is the problem, not killing Bin Laden and destroying Al Qaeda, which had to be done after 9/11/.

People like you forget 9/11 ever happened.
