According to a recent article in the New York Times, aerospace giant Boeing was hit by WannaCry. WannaCry is particularly insidious for two reasons. First, the payload itself, known as “Eternal Blue”, was designed by none other than the NSA. Of course it could be like the apocryphal young woman who was driving home from work one night when she heard a bulletin on the radio stating that a crazed rapist had just escaped from a local nuthouse and had last been seen in the area where she lived. Arriving home she ran into the house as quickly as she could, locked and chained every door and window, activated the security alarms then ran upstairs to her room, where she proceeded to lock and bolt the door and placed a heavy bureau in front of it. She then got undressed, turned the light out and jumped into bed, just in time to hear a voice say, “Now we’re locked in for the night!”

Businesses???????

I think you need to re-read the article.

Because our own damned government CREATED this problem in order to spy on us!!!

What the hell are businesses supposed to do about it when if they do anything the bastards from the NSA will show up with a National Security Letter and shut them down?????

As long as businesses are willing to fill their offices with Windows virus magnets, this will continue.
