Dreamers rally at Missouri capital against bill to cut in-state tuition for undocumented students

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Metro DACA students from the Kansas/Missouri Dream Alliance headed to Missouri’s capital Wednesday to lobby against a budget bill that would terminate in-state tuition rates for undocumented youth with DACA.

“It was horrible. I ended up going to the dean’s office. It got to the point where I really wanted to continue school. I didn’t want to drop out or go to another college, but I wasn’t able to afford it,” said Zaid Consuegra, a dreamer from Mexico City. He came to Kansas City in 1999.

He did not get in-state tuition for his schooling and knows the struggle of not being able to afford his education.

Now, Consuegra said he feels for undocumented youth who might have to pay extra in pursuit of higher education.

“I think it is discouraging for someone who is trying to better themselves and be in higher education,” Consuegra added. “I think it’s ridiculous to stop people, or students, from higher learning.”

How about the legal citizen from Missouri, who was denied admission to the University he’s attending? He’s an illegal taking up a spot that should go to a citizen.

How could such a bill not be passed unanimously? Who do those representatives represent, anyway?

“Dreamers” my ass. They need to take their ass home and make their “demands” there. Foreign nationals making “demands” to the U.S. taxpayers really pisses me off.

“Metro DACA students from the Kansas/Missouri Dream Alliance”

Immigration Agents take note of this. Sounds like fishing with no limit.

Note that the “dreamers” don’t go to Mexico and demand rights. No sir, they go and pester the white man where they think they might have a chance, as opposed to back home where they know they don’t have a prayer.

Remember when the American Dream use to be applied to Americans?

Has Sec 505 of the IIRIRA been repealed?

If not, then the dreamers can pound sand.

This illegal and his pals are costing us 134 plus billion in welfare alone. Throw them the hell out of this country. This punk darn sure did not fight for this country. We have free loading illegals all over.

Worse, he's an illegal who gets awarded an AFFIRMATIVE ACTION advantage over white citizens to get into college.

It's bad enough that these illegals are getting in-state tuition (or being admitted to universities at all). On top of that, they're getting preferential treatment as affirmative action quota "minorities," along with all of the scholarships and financial aid that goes along with that status.

Every one of them in college is taking up a spot and resources that a more deserving US citizen could have had.

Lemme guess. Not a single ICE officer was within a 100 miles.

One would think college tuition in Mexico is way cheaper than in-state tuition. Run to the border.

“who gets awarded an AFFIRMATIVE ACTION advantage over white citizens”

The instant an illegal steps over the line into the United States they become part of the Protected Class known as “hispanics” - which no one can define other then “they speak Spanish”.

So do lots of high school students taking the class.

Why should the descendants of the Iberian Peninsula enjoy protected status over us? They were our enemies for centuries and still are. It’s an abomination to the 14th Amendment, to say nothing of the memories of those killed at the Alamo, Goliad, San Jacinto, San Pasqual, Columbus and of course the Halls of Montezuma.

I guess you should have shown that kind of motivation to become a legal U.S. citizen before you tried to rip off the American people by continuing your higher education on their dime.

Sucks to be you. GTFO
