Like I said...I talk too much! LOL! Besides, you were away for a bit.

We don’t know anything about these two. This is the first year there’s been a cam on this nest. There’s been a breeding pair there for a while but it might not be these two. There were other storks fighting with these two a few days ago and they might have been the original owners. But these two arrived first and won the nest.

They need to figure out how to get the sticks to stay put. They’ve had trouble with that left side. Just have to hope they figure it all out.
The male seems more serious about it today, I guess because of the egg’s arrival.

I wish it could be sunny Saturday but they’re calling for rain and thunderstorms. The road up the mountain is twisty and it makes me nervous enough coming down on a good day. I don’t like it at all when it’s raining. But I’m looking forward to getting back up to the museum to work a little bit again, rain or shine.

As long as it isn’t storming during the drive down, it won’t be too bad. But as long as the road’s wet at all, anyone behind me better not be in a hurry. LOL! I go slooooooowly.

But I’m champing at the bit to get back up there since they weren’t open last weekend.

Posted this yesterday

With incredible sadness I post this. Our Sister Terrie went home to be with our Lord yesterday. She had come home from the hospital and was recuperating after surgery, unsteady on her feet but yet determined to be back up walking again. She always fought her way back from some major health issues. She fell twice in her home. She suffered severe brain trauma and bleeding and passed yesterday at 3:31 PM. Loving as she was she was an organ donor so many people will continue to be blessed by her after her death.
Terrie was #2 in our family of 10. Mother of 3 and grand mother of 5. She loved and lived for her grand babies. She lives in Marlboro, Massachusetts and our family will be traveling back to be with her and her children. We Love you Sista, we will miss you dearly but thru Christ we are assured we will see you again. Terrie is more alive now than ever, no more pain and a new body with Christ. A reunion with her husband Rich, our Mom, Nana and brother Chris. Rest in Paradise. Her wake will be Monday April 16 4-7PM Slattery Funeral Home, Marlborough
