The point made here is that there is no reason necessary. If there are enough representatives that want to impeach Trump and the perception is that it will not cause the impeachers to lose their next elections then Trump will be impeached. Any grounds at all would be sufficient, including what he had for breakfast on Wednesday the 12 of June 1997. The USSC cannot overturn a Congressional Impeachment or a Senatorial Conviction.

This stuff is all going on behind the scenes, not a lot of people even know about it. Lots of sealed indictments. He’s doing more than reviewing the FBI, etc. Also Clinton Foundation, etc.

You should actually look at the letter and not some interpretation of what is in the Sessions letter.

I don't think it means what you think it means.

I’m hurt.
You left out my favorite name.

Please consider adding it to your list
when u do your “In before Session Bashers” routine.

They are trying to angle on the bribery charge. Except, there was no bribery, or treason , or any high crime or misdemeanor.

Now the whole establishment? There is a huge case for it there on all counts. Especially the past administration.

And that is why this smoke screen. Deny and deflect.

" I see an AG who moved a potential grand jury on all the Clinton matters from D.C. to Utah. Where would you rather sit a grand jury? "

What is a potential grand jury? That sounds strangely like no grand jury because there isn't one and it would need to be in DC anyway.

No offense and I wish what you say were true but like many of the 3D chess players you see something that simply does not exist.

What does exist is the AG outsourcing HIS problem to someone as far away as possible so that NOTHING is actually done. Have you seen anybody flying to Utah to answer questions? The whole idea is just ludicrous. I bet all of DC is laughing their asses off at Sessions pulling the Utah prosecutor thing. If you are going to have influence and power in DC you have to BE IN DC.

Why do you think Obama rented a home practically on the white house lawn? Why not in Utah?

"What if anything in Session's background can suggest anything as dark as a "plant" for the Deep State/swamp?"

In Sessions background is decades in Washington DC. That's all you need to know. He's all good until it comes to prosecuting anyone in "The Club". Ain't going to happen, he believes on protecting their own and he's doing exactly that.

Trump and Sessions are getting it all together

I wish it were so, but there's no objective evidene to support that rosy scenario.

On the contrary, all objective evidence points to Sessions being a compromised dupe of the deep state. Ask yourself; what would Jeff Sessions have done differently over the last year, if he were trying to take Trump down?

“LOL these 3D chess people are hilarious.”

The Sessions bashers are the only ones who use the overplayed “multi-dimensional chess” meme.

The article said precisely the opposite: “...they were not caught by using multi-dimensional chess, but by the simple, age-old good cop-bad cop trick.”

Whenever someone doesn’t hate Jeff Sessions enough or fails to pile 100% of the blame for something on him, the haters ridicule that person by saying “Duh! They think Trump is playing 4D chess!” But they are always the ones talking about multidimensional chess - not those they ridicule.

In debate circles this tactic is known as setting up a “straw man”. It employs one of the false association fallacies, whereby a debator sets up a purposely weak argument (the straw man) and tries to use false association to project the weak argument onto his opponent, and then defeats it, making it appear is if he scored points when he didn’t.

This tactic is considered a cheap shot, and it only works on morons. It doesn’t work here on FR. It just makes those who use it look weak.

Whatever happens, the rats WILL leak any and all information obtained by Mulehead at about the time of the midterms OR the 2020 election. Allowing these traitors to gather all this information for eventual Disinformation, is criminal. I don’t care if the “fruit of the poisonous tree applies”!! It is too late. Half the country believed the lies BEFORE this all started, and more than half will believe it all, right OR wrong, no matter what comes out. It’s like in court where the jury is told to disregard that previous statement or remarks. How stupid is that!!

I don't hate Jeff Sessions. I don't think the President is playing 4D chess. I think the President is tired of Jeff Sessions not doing his job and is well aware that all of this Russia crap and the special prosecutor that has done nothing but hamstring the President since day one is entirely the fault of Jeff Sessions.

I do believe the President wants to replace Sessions asap but for reasons unknown to the public he feels he must wait.

Now lets talk about the article. You said, " The article said precisely the opposite: “...they were not caught by using multi-dimensional chess, but by the simple, age-old good cop-bad cop trick.”

The author of this article must have a very different definition of "caught" than I do. Unless you count jet setting around on multi million dollar book signings and collecting massive pensions and benefits on tax payer dollars as being caught.

So this is the point. The 3D chess types see things that simply aren't there. No one has been caught. There is no grand jury. There are no sealed indictments. There is no special prosecutor investigating the Clintons. There has been no serious attempt by the DOJ to enforce the literally hundreds of laws broken by the previous administration and even those currently investigating the president. Andrew McCabe may have lost some of his pension and that would be the sum total of the accountability.

IMO 3D chess is now a term that applies to people and theories that are mostly wishful thinking rather than observations of reality.

I have followed politics for a very long time and the one thing that people sometimes forget or newbies don't understand is that if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck.............it's a duck. Concluding it's anything but is fantasy or delusion.

>>impeachment process formally does not require a violation of the law.<<

Uh..not sure that is accurate. High crimes and misdemeanors.

So if effJ Sessions is really Superman in disguise just waiting to swoop in, why are his supporters giving away the game ahead of time?

And if he is indeed Superman, then Sessions’ bashers are owed a big debt of gratitude for keeping the ruse.

“IMO 3D chess is now a term that applies to people and theories that are mostly wishful thinking rather than observations of reality.”

I agree with your statement on how the 3D chess term is used. Wishful thinking.

If all the Sessions bashers were like you, and instead of ruining every thread with hateful personal attacks on Sessions, and then hurling childish insults at anyone who objects - if instead of that they said what you’ve just said: You don’t hate Jeff Sessions, but you think the Mueller investigation is his fault, you think I’m engaging in wishful thinking - I’d have no problem.

It’s fair to think I’m engaging in wishful thinking and say so. It’s fair to believe the Mueller investigation is Sessions’ fault and say so. It’s fair to think he should be fired and say so. Those are your opinions and you’ve expressed them without insults or hyperbole.

That’s called civil discourse. I disagree with you but that’s OK. I like to hear differing opinions.

The trouble is that’s not the typical fare from Sessions bashers. They pile on with nasty stuff - and it’s totally unnecessary. If they would just say “I think that’s wishful thinking. I think Jeff Sessions is part of the deep state” - that’s all they would need to say to get their point across - but that’s not what happens.

I only wish it were “hilarious” ...

The truth is that the SOB’s pushing the “3D Chess” Bullsh*t are leading people into a state of apathy, when they really need to be fighting for their political lives and the survival of the Republic. How many of these gullible, who believe the 3D pied pipers, will not show up for the primaries or midterm elections? How many will fail to call Congress to demand that their representatives support the president?

The sad truth is that those who fall for the 3D Chess crap are making it more likely that we will loose the HOR, and thus ensuring that President Trump gets impeached, which, no matter the failure of a Senate conviction, will still effective end his implementing the MAGA agenda.
