Trump would go nuclear, and as the fall-out clears, we’d see Mueller rummaging in a garbage can and robbing corpses as Trump and Putin dance the Mazorka together and drink vodka in NORAD.
Both Russia and Chine a light-years away from having the global influence of the U.S. To talk as if their influence in Syria somehow remotely upsets U.S. Hegemony is quite hyperbolic.
China is smart. Look at what Xi Jinping announced today with regard to lifting trade tariffs or whatever.
Look at Russia’s economy and economic prospects by contrast. Long term and short term. The ruble collapsed yesterday.
Check who the delusional one is.
But at the end of the day, Russia knows how to play with their small stack of cards: stirring up just enough trouble knowing it would never escalate too far...due to our fear of nuclear war.
