Females are feminine. Values are very conservative. Creative arts are still creative and not politicized shove-it-down-your-throat propaganda. Art quality is straight-up amazing. Plots aren’t nauseatingly predictable. Protagonists are actually flawed in real ways, and you can’t bank on a neat happy ending. Sometimes it’s real messy.
