... Walker, who is up for re-election to a third term next fall, tweeted that the results were another sign that the GOP is in trouble.

"Tonight's results show we are at risk of a #BlueWave in WI. The Far Left is driven by anger & hatred -- we must counter it with optimism & organization. Let's share our positive story with voters & win in November," he tweeted.

In another tweet, Walker added, "Big government special interests flooded Wisconsin with distorted facts & misinformation. Next, they'll target me and work to undo our bold reforms. We need to keep moving #WIForward & make sure a #BlueWave of outside special interest money doesn't take us backward."

the dems in WI are the most criminal and corrupt political organization since the mob.

yet, it is indeed disturbing that they had a W there.

Why are Republicans panicking over these special elections. Do they not remember that Dems lost a thousand seats over the course of 6 years?

Walker’s success was derived from his tenacity, not his capitulation.

With a Walker, Ryan, and Priebus being the models of Wisconsin Republicans, not surprised the party is at risk in the state.

They are certainly doing their best to succeed at reaching their goal. They know nothing about governing, they do know how to pack their wallet with cold hard cash. The two parties = one and the same. They are no longer the lesser of two evils. Just another evil, this one carrying their own trunk to pack even more $$

What really burns my chaps is our POTUS-VSG is busting his buns to make a difference for us, AMERICANS, and the d’rats/r’rats have yet to attempt to help him. They are continuing full speed to thwart him in every direction.

CONGRESS IS NOT OUR FRIEND. They should not be our master either.

State court races are among the most “local” of all elections - rarely are they harbingers of anything broader at mid-term.

I honestly don’t know, at this point, whether to come down on this as you do and not worry or to, instead, begin worrying.

I’m typically a very optimistic person but I think we should, at least, guard against adopting totally a “move along, nothing to see here” stand.

Of course we should be concerned, but we have also won many of these races as well.

Losing a race in Wisconsin is similar to losing a race in Minnesota or Massachusetts. Now if a race is lost in a typical red state, then it’s time to worry.

Including Walker on your list indicates to me that you do not live in Wisconsin.

Walker is a good guy, the others are questionable. Without Walker, Wisconsin would not have less than 3% unemployment, Foxconn, Right to Work, busted teachers unions, lower property taxes, Voter ID, and more.

For the same reason why it was important to win the White House - the courts. There is now a liberal member of the state Supreme Court for at least 10 years.
