"...The Ganges is currently way below normal flow, with some stretches completely dry, due to volume being siphoned off for irrigation ..."

The poop scientist in me thinks that with the enormous fecal load, that yummy water may be a big boon to any crops that receive it.

Brushing your teeth though? Not so much.

They found that warming was expected to lead to wetter conditions on average

There was a thread a couple of days ago about Global Warming causing the Sahara to expand due to drier conditions on average.

Science: it's Whatever pushes the Narrative.

Following that diagram looks like a lot of work. Don’t you think it’s more sensible to predict all manner of outcomes, including contradicting ones - and make them observable in about 100 years? That way you’re always right, eventually.

Three stages of matter...

Solid, liquid, gas.

” Global cooling would be a disaster because it would cut agricultural production.”

yeah, the Little Ice Age was a disaster for Europe, as well as Viking expansion:

6,000 years ago what is now the Sahara Desert was tropical.

Climate changed and yet the world did not come to an end.

Humans and animals migrated as the changes were occurring (while some simply adapted to the new climate).

Even if all these predictions were to come true (and I doubt it will happen) humans will find a way to adapt.

Destroying our economy today for something that may happen in the future is insane.

We have gone 85 years with continuous decline in temperatures on land, and continuous decline in ocean surface elevation.

As long as the oceans stay warm, this will continue to be so. Warm oceans deposit snow and ice in the mountains, and at the poles, as has been observed.

Enough of the climate scam.

BS!

6000 years ago, all men lived in the protected mild pre-flood climate, and there was no climate variation on the single existing continent.

Search “Ganges corpses” and see why doubling the flow would be a GOOD thing, washing away the effluvia more efficiently.

Plus, there's this newfangled concept called "reservoirs."

Followed by "hydroelectric production and irrigation."

Has something to do with "agriculture" and "development."

I think.

6,000 years is a tiny fraction of a blink of an eye in geological terms. God set it all spinning, but man decided to guess how long ago He did so. When has man ever been consistently right?

India would use the water. californicate would let it flow into the ocean unused.

Absolute nonsense!

Your “geology” is twisted, as the evidence is clear and offers no indication of great age.

I am not an expert so I looked it up. There are several articles on the subject - if you will point me to the one you wrote (as you are presenting yourself as an expert) I will go and read it.

I do not pretend to know everything. I rely on the ability to look things up and go from there. I am willing to admit I am wrong if you can provide the evidence.

Maybe the media/leftist cabal will figure out that climate change has been occurring on Earth for 4.5 billion years and will continue despite and in spite of humans.. adapt or perish.......

I don’t waste too much time on those unwilling to look at reality, and rely on “articles” by twisted psuedo-scientists with foolish agendas.

If you look carefully at the real world, the truth of the word of Yehova prevails. If that’s not your thing, I pity you.

Truly , I was in Varanasi once , the so-called holy city right on the banks of the Ganges in U.P. I was appalled at all the human feces that filled the streets and allies all through town . Unbelievable . And you breathe it in as a dry dust in the air , everywhere you go . Disgusting .
