Thanks for the info. There’s a long-established Greek restaurant about a half-hour from me, and their food is awesome. Whenever my oldest son comes to visit, we meet there for supper, and then head back to my place. I always get their gyro platter which comes with an awesome salad and flatbread. They make their own dressing from Greek spices. My son usually gets their Thracian Chicken platter or their Souvlaki mixed platter which consists of lamb kebobs and gyro patty. They sell their spice mixtures, and he buys it, mixes it with oil, and marinates chicken and beef at home.

I just had a big bowl of home-made French Onion soup for supper, with toasted baguettes on top, and gruyère cheese to cover, and all browned under the broiler. Yum yum.
