Using Mueller’s logic, these lawsuits are a conspiracy to defraud the US Government by interfering in our elections.

The Rats will surely be able to block it for 2020 at least. They'll find an Obola appointee in San Francisco.

Democrats are hell-bent on putting illegal immigrants over and above the safety and security of their family members, neighbors, supporters, and voters, not to mention ignoring the laws of the United States of American.

Don’t be surprised if we learn that Schumer, McConnell, Pelosi and Ryan agreed in the Omnibus spending bill that the federal government shall be prohibited from asking the citizenship question in the next census.

The census is written into the US Constitution.

Holder and Schneiderman have no standing. They can go stick it.

And the courts can contradict the Constitution all they want. They are powerless to enforce it their unconstitutional rulings.

I know that this concept is difficult for a conservative to wrap their head around, but the judiciary is the weakest branch of government for a reason. And this example is a reason why that was made so.

IIRC, the Constitution does not explicitly state that congressional districts are based upon the number of “citizens”. Thus, 5-4 at SCOTUS in favor of Trump admin, thank GOd.

if the illegals are counted like citizens it means MANY House seats for the Rats.

The illegals, if they fill out the census forms will be counted like citizens. The Constitution calls for the enumeration of all persons, it makes no distinction between citizens and non citizens.

The Democrats are worried that the question will scare off the illegals from participating and thus reduce the population (and representation) of the states where lots of illegals live.

Easy, have the court redefine what constitutes US citizenship or even what a census is.

I mean, the lower courts in particular have demonstrated that their opinions weight more than those in the executive and the legislative branches and even the constitution. They are drunk with power.

The Dems know if we only count American citizens they will lose seats and money. I would wager that upwards to millions of votes in California in 2016 were from illegals.

So much so that Hillary could not claim to have won the popular vote.

You know, they might be right. Citizenship is a dumb detail for the census. Let’s census the entire world and include it all in how we legislate for this country. What fools we have been to leave everyone else out when we research our land.

The concern democrats have is that just knowing the question is on the form will cause illegals to avoid the census takers and will therefore not be counted.

If the citizen question is on the form it won’t affect the census count as long as the residents, illegal or legal, fill out the form or a census worker fills it out for them.

The census has no authority to act on the information if a person self identifies as an illegal.

And the census will not share specific identity information with Homeland Security or ICE or any other federal agency.

The only way they share information is in ways that protects the identity and personal information of those who have been counted.

Every census employee is required by to sign an agreement that they will keep all personal information confidential.

As an example the census might publish data reporting that a certain percentage of residents in an area self identified as non-citizens.

But there will be no specifics as to who did or did not provide personal information.

We need pro-choice in the Census. Ask each respondent: Is there an unborn baby in the household.

Each respondent has the pro-choice ability to answer “No. It is just a tissue growth.” Or

Yes. It is a baby.

Babies are counted. Tissue growth are not counted.

Guess who wins?

Obviously there is a genuine public purpose in knowing precisely the future population growth through new babies. Everyone who is truly pro-choice, and everyone who is science based must agree that this should be in the census.

Democrats have criticized the administration’s announcement, saying the inclusion of such a question amounts to an effort to intimidate immigrant communities and siphon money and electoral power away from them.

Only illegal immigrants would lose money (which they aren’t entitled to) and electoral power (ditto).

I took that from Glen Reynolds...
