Contrived how? Possession of a high capacity anything requires special licensing in MA. The report is not clear about flash hider vs supressor and calling a smoke grenade an infernal device is wrong but on the other things, like a bump stock, totally illegal in the People’s Republic.

How does no one seem to see this makes not sense whatsoever? Why would someone who knows they have a half a ton of illegal contraband in their hotel room call the police? If they were not in the hotel room what made them think someone was trying to break in?
This is pretty obviously a setup of some kind. They clearly picked a very specific list of firearms and gear to show what is available to the public and push the gun control agenda. In the pic I see - A bump stock - 37mm launcher - M1a - AR15 - Handgun with hi cap mags, likely 9mm - HK clone with likely fake suppressor but could be modified illegally
I think even a quick investigation will reveal a political agenda is behind this event. They may have actually been put up to this so the "secret government mission" might not be far from the truth.
This was NOT a mass shooting that got stopped. It was obviously made to look that way.

It's a pretty common mod, but the Webley isn't built to take a constant diet of full power .45 ACP. The .455 Webley develops about 11,000 psi of pressure, where the .45 ACP is around 22,000 psi.

The Webley round is a good short-range defense round and it always has been.
The 45 Auto is my favorite, but the 455 is just as good.
I have never been a fan of magnums of any type.
