I agree. Besides, either the weapons are non-functional, or they are functional. And, either he is a secret agent (haha) or he isn't. Both claims are easy to check.
But, why call in the presence of the weapons in the hotel? Were they already discovered? Or, is the whole thing an anti-2A setup?

I was commenting on the fact that in Massachusetts a person can be charged with “possession of a large capacity firearm”. This is a charge that simply does not exist in most states.
If you go to the link you can see a better photo of the weapons. The top one looks like a SAW. Squad Assault Weapon. Serious ruckus raiser. Night scope on the AR and that does look like a 40mm tube on the M203.

Part of the job of a covert operator is knowing you can be arrested as a terrorist/kook if the op fails. And there is good chance that the agency you work for will not help you.

The individuals arrest photos look more like crack dealers and maybe they just armed up for a buy. All just speculation.
