They Were Trained for This Moment

... The effectiveness of these poised, articulate, well-informed, and seemingly preternaturally mature student leaders of Stoneman Douglas has been vaguely attributed to very specific personalities and talents. Indeed, their words and actions have been so staggeringly powerful, they ended up fueling laughable claims about crisis actors, coaching, and fat checks from George Soros. But there is a more fundamental lesson to be learned in the events of this tragedy: These kids aren’t freaks of nature. Their eloquence and poise also represent the absolute vindication of the extracurricular education they receive at Marjory Stoneman Douglas.

The students of Stoneman Douglas have been the beneficiaries of the kind of 1950s-style public education that has all but vanished in America. ...

Rare to find praise for 1950s style education - which was indeed very good. However, this article raises more questions than it answers.

The school and local PD facilitated the massacre via intentional neglect.

These kids were setup to be massacred.

It was a kid from the same school that shot it up.

Oops, that is a bit inconvenient for the media narrative.

Tomorrow Belongs to Me - Cabaret
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tUctFu46_c

The patriotic song from Cabaret, in the beergarten in pre-war Nazi Germany, sung by the arian Hitler youth. You see many young and old people getting taken up by the song, but you can also see the old man who remembers WWI and knows what will happen.

Before the rise of David Hogg and Emma Gonzales, I also noticed that the kids at this school seemed more articulate than the typical products of our current educational system.

So, to me, the Slate article is double-edged; these kids aren't "special" because of their views on gun control, but because they have been taught better English than most of their contemporaries. And, if they are "preternatural," it is because they are preternaturally weird, almost demonic.

Better English? Skilled orators? With every sentence laced with the F word, twice, I challenge that view. In fact, I believe the Slate article neglected to add the “/s” at the end of the article.

"Tomorrow Belongs To Me"

The David Hoggs of the world have that arrogance about owning the future, and mocking older people, but patriotism has nothing to do with their message, except as a ruse, a deception.

Remember “Cindy” (?) the anti-war/anti-Bush mom? Whatever happened to her after her usefulness ended?

I was talking about some anonymous students who were interviewed right after the event, not David Hogg and the other subsequent media darlings.

Well I can’t say I’ve paid much attention to their gun control ranting, but David Hogg and Emma ? seem rather pathetic to me. Especially David Hogg, who can’t utter a sentence without mindless profanity and who sounds like one of the worst “diarists” from DailyKosFreaks.

Cindy Sheehan. Her usefulness to the Obama regime expired after the election when she when she kept complaining about the war. So they turned off her media coverage and she just faded away.

They Were Trained for This Moment

The integrity, honesty and character of the protected thug subculture can best be viewed when examining the gross dichotomy between their physical murdering behavior and their whine for "justice," via cute (Soros-paid for) placards and tee shirts, displaying messages about the dead thug, and asking, what can be done differently.

In the future, I will refer to MLK "spinner Martin Luther king" to commemorate what he must be doing in his grave.

The millionaires playing thugball echo the mindless question, "what can be done differently to prevent a felon to be shot 20 times?
Well he could have been shot only 2 times; that's different, but what follows would not change one bit.

The felon could have followed the orders of the law enforcement officers, display empty hands, when ordered to do so, and if he is still shot dead twice or five or twenty times anyway, I would be among the first peaceful supporters marching and demanding that the justice system deal fairly with the results of the event.

That would not include threatening random innocent random drivers passing by, beating them up, causing serious damage to their vehicles, and threatening to kill other cops, and the body cams and dozens of cell phones could document the entire thing.

But since that's not what happened, I would say the ****-for-brains felon ... (deleted deliberately so as not to further arouse the hundreds of other felons already rioting.)
