The rumor mill is that Paul Ryan is getting ready to resign in the next 30 to 60 days and that Steve Scalise will be the new Speaker.

What? This is outrageous. This is not acceptable.
The next 30 to 60 minutes will be OK. Why wait any longer?

The speaker is not resigning, said Ryans spokeswoman AshLee Strong in a statement on Monday. That makes it official. He's gone.

A thought just crossed my mind.
Did Trump sign that Omnibus spending bill on the condition that RINO-Ryan go home?
That would be a trade-off I could live with.
He did pull this a while back and they begged him to stay. He brings the bacon and ignores the pleb voters better than anybody. He’s just negotiating another raise.

If true, and I do hope it is true, why is Ryno leaving now?
Is something on him coming out soon?
The IG report in May?

OK, so Ryan leaves as Speaker. Who takes his place? There are only between 60 and 80 real conservatives in the House (depending on who you think is a Conservative), but it takes 218 to make a Speaker.
I can guarantee you it won't be a Conservative. So would we be better off?

We can all hope but I won’t believe it until President Trump tweets it.
