Nope we both have HTC droid. I don’t use the facebook app on my phone, just facebook through the browser. Most facebook for me is on a PC.

Hopefully this will at least end his Presidential ambitions.

Dangerous.....................I would set my browser(s) to ‘stealth’ or ‘private’ mode, and only use FB through a single independent window...........

You may be free but I imagine they still keep all your data.
Did you download your Facebook file? I did before I deleted my account and finally looked at it the other night, I was blown away by all the information they had collected on me.
If you have Facebook on your phone, regardless if it is Android or IOS, if you don’t alter the permissions, the default is that they record every call and text sent or received, access to your address book, your camera and the the microphone in your phone. They record everything they can.

Wipe the phone and start over. That’s the only way to be sure.
Or nuke it from orbit, that works too!

I’d say using a browser is less dangerous than using the app.

Won’t work on all phones.
Some, Samsung for instance, the FB app is part of the OS, so if you wipe the phone and reboot, it’s back!................

Ah, as was foretold... if it is free or cheap, YOU are the product being sold. On the Internet, you're either the customer...or the product.
