I think thread is a great idea...Maybe you can work with the Prepping thread, cooking thread and gardening thread...to coordinate related posts, cross reference, etc. so folks on all 4 are learning and contributing?!?!

Yes, friendly drop in...and that is sort of what the cooking thread and gardening thread seems to do don’t you think? I really need t read thru Granny’s threads.

I whole heartedly REJECT the notion that there are just bs Americans will not do. I worked while in High School. This allowed me to buy my first car, second and third cars, it paid for stereos and spending money. It also paid for my college. I earned my way through school.

I think a lot of kids would work, if only they could get summer jobs that these low skilled H-2B jobs Visas are taking away from High School students, and college students on summer break.
