Geeez, YES! When hell freezes over, as long as McConnell sits on the gavel!

Our nation could spring to life if it weren’t for foreign actor’s and donor teats!

Re: “Taking jobs we do not want to do.”

Re: “Learn what you are dissing before doing so.”

The reason Americans do not want to do those jobs is because we have a massive - and completely artificial - oversupply of low skilled labor, which has crushed the wage scale, and quite often creates unpleasant working conditions.

Why on EARTH do we need to import MORE low-skilled workers? They immediately go on the welfare rolls anyway. If this is true, it is the height of stupidity. This whole bill seems to be made to place a huge burden on taxpaying Americans and do little else save give the dummocraps an enormous amount of our money to play with.

Immigration was the single thing that I wanted changed when I voted for Trump.and it’s still the number one issue for me.

I barely recognize the country anymore-—and want to stop the invasion.

I’ve just about had it.

Trump disappoints on this #1 issue. He gave the store away by offering immediate citizenship to 800,000 DACA recipients, and by chain migration this will explode to 3 million new votes for Democrats. Trump is now co-opted. Sad.

Sooo we allow all these UNSKILLED REFUGEES AND UNACCOMPANIED MINORS FROM SOUTH AMERICA to invade and obtain various forms of welfare (part of our $1.7T debt!!), and yet we have to IMPORT MORE UNSKILLED WORKERS WITH AB INCREASE IN H-2b VISAS???’
Thanks GOP-e Uniparty!!!

WTH is Trump going to sign this turd?

Sometimes it sure doesn’t seem like we won in 2016 :(

The GOPe does not care if they are in the majority or minority—some may prefer the minority because they cannot be blamed for bills passing.

As long as the individual congress swamp dwellers win their elections and get the perks, money and power, they are happy to run the country into the ground if it pleases their sponsors like the CHamber.

He will be toast. He will be nothing more than a typical politician that lied to us and stabbed us in the back.

Let’s hope he is playing a game with this

I sure hope so!!!!!!!!!!

I am very concerned that many (myself included tho I am sure I will cast a vote in Nov) are not at all motivated to go vote for these GOP-e House and Senate turds! My Rep is supposed to be a conservative, yet he is not part of the Freedom caucus and is as conservative is Paul Ryan—i.e. he votes the company line...but then what can I expect in IL :(

The conundrum is do you vote for a treasonous turd or a treasonous radical?

Love your prepping thread BTW!!!! I usually read it very late at night, so don’t feel particularly cogent LOL, but I do like it!!!! :)

Hope all is well with you :)

Hope to return to my beautiful former home state for a visit some time and hope to look you up as we never did do that debate or inauguration celebration :)

Have to agree with you on this one - lots of ignorant bloviating going on here.

When you own a business that depends upon manual labor, landscaping for instance, and you place want ads for employment and ZERO people walk through the door, you’d better be thinking outside the box otherwise your business will suffer.

H2B is NOT an immigration issue, illegal or otherwise, but gets unfairly lumped together with government’s inability to control our borders. H2B is a visa program - employees come for a specified period, work and then return home. Many visa holders have been returning to the same company to work for many years and become valued employees.

You can try and cast this issue as “taking jobs away from Americans” or “doing jobs that Americans won’t do” but I think it has much more to do with the fact that the concept of work for native born Americans is changing. If you were born here, educated here, you are much more likely to be trained up in a STEM oriented environment. Manual labor is not part of that mix.

But, there’s still a lot of work that needs to get done. Are you going to do it, H2B haters?

WRONG. The low skilled workers come here just to spit out anchor babies. Then they quit their low paying job and live off of their anchor baby welfare payouts.

It’s a scam to produce more democrat voters. The rat party needs to do this because they are aborting their native born babies.

Taking jobs we do not want to do....at the wages they want to pay.

Fixed it for you.

If a U.S. worker could earn enough in six months to live for the year then don't you think there would be a stampede of qualified people to fill those jobs? Instead employers - like Lar-a-Margo - use H-2Bs to depress wages and save money.

Why the hell did POTUS agree to sign this stinking pile of $hit?

I hope he pulls an ace from his sleeve - but I won't hold my breath.

Definitely let me know when you come, we will figure out a way to meet. I’m sorry I dropped the ball on the inauguration thing.

Im glad you’re checking out the ongoing prepping thread. i think I’ll keep going at it for a while and see if more people join in. I don’t know if you remember granny’s threads, but they were more like friends having conversations. People would just pop back in kind a like an open door in a friendly neighborhood :-) and the conversations would ebb and flow. I really like that a lot better than weekly threads with a topic that changes. Plus I’m not that creative to keep coming up with topics! So I hope it catches on. ps. Anyone that wants a link to that thread here let me know :-) I don’t mean to advertise… But it was brought up!
