But we can’t sue the Democrat party for inundating the country with 30 million illegal aliens?

Oil companies would probably be willing to pay for Ann Carlson and Peter C. Frumhoff and the San Francisco Chronicle management and staff to receive firehose enemas.

Waiting for the San Andreas fault to crack and Kalifornia will tip over into the Pacific like Hank Johnson said Guam would.

On Wednesday, a federal judge will hold a “climate science tutorial” as part of San Francisco’s and Oakland’s nuisance cases against five oil giants for damages related to sea level rise.

The seven cities in the lawsuit are strapped for money and the oil companies will just pass on any costs realized on to the consumer.

If we had real judges on the court this lawsuit would not get past the initial hearing.

In real courts the cities would have to show harm and real losses to proceed with the suit.

How can they possibly show financial losses due to sea level rise caused by oil companies? There is no evidence of measurable sea level rise and even if there was there is no evidence to show that global warming (if any) is caused by the burning of fossil fuels.

But we all know that we do not have real judges that demand real proof. We have activist judges that are there to promote social justice not real justice.

Shouldn’t they be put to death and made in to delicious burgers?

Only if they resist.

...help California communities lead the fight to ensure companies pay for the climate damage...

Even if you buy into their argument, when will these economic twits learn that companies don't pay for anything...consumers do. Unless they have found a way to remove all distillate fuels from their lives, and all of the other products that are derived from oil, from medicines to fabrics, all they will do is raise the prices of all these products. Yet, these are likely the same idiots who fought every new power plant that has been proposed in CA for the past 20 years. Yet, when rolling brownouts occurred during the past five years, they blamed the power companies and utility regulators for not supplying enough power.

Cake...eat...too.

Oh, I figure that a majority of Californians will admit a complete recovery in a week. But, I’d let it run a month and shoot for unanimity.

:)

Absolutely cut them off, or at least charge them a special “tax” to reimburse the oil companies, plus a little extra for the inconvenience.

This is from the city that has a hepatitis epidemic from people pooping in the streets? Yeah sparky, you keep it up...maybe we’ll believe something you publish before you go extinct.

...On Wednesday, a federal judge will hold a “climate science tutorial...

So, man made “climate change” is going to be decided by a court case?
I have as much faith in that as a Court ruling that a
House is haunted “as a matter of law.”

Ok, Chronicle, let’s ban the sale and use of gasoline in California, starting tomorrow. Ok?

Oil companies ought to just cease all operations within the U.S. for a few weeks and give Greens what they want.

Let the Greens discover just how much even they rely on oil products and the revenue paid by oil companies.

Climate change and offshoot issues like carbon offsets are nothing but scams to bilk citizens and businesses out of their hard earned dollars.

If the issue was real and adherants were serious about reducing manmade activity they believe causes harm you wouldn’t be able to purchase carbon offsets
that are nothing more than a costly permit to allow you to emit carbon gas.

So they believe it is harmful to emit carbon gas.
But it is okay to emit the harmful carbon gas as long as the right people make money from it.

How does that reduce so-called harmful emissions?

The beaches may LOOK the same, but you are actually ten miles further inland than you were 30 years ago! That’s how much sea levels have risen. It happened so slowly you didn’t even see it was happening. The cool thing is SCUBA diving to your old neighbors now-submerged houses. Underwater looting and archeology are all the rage now. You should join the fun.

Squeeze out a platoon from Camp Pendleton to invade the city. If the fascists in San Francisco don’t get it, call out the 3rd Marine Airwing.

"All oil companies should cease providing petroleum to CA."

Yep, just take them at their word and follow their logic: ban the sale use of gasoline in California ASAP. The hypocrisy and venality of these people is without limit.

There’s a serious move afoot here to ban gasoline engines in 2040. Everything will run on rare earth elements and batteries.
