I doubt it. The special elections show that the Democrats are more enthusiastic and have more turnout. DO what you wish, but without enthusiasm you don’t give your side a good reason to not vote for the other side or not stay at home.
The candidates matter.
The GOP has won quite a few of these special elections.
The GOP greatly outperformed the Democrats in the Texas primary.
