>>No one gets their pension taken away. Why should he?<<

Wrong. People lose their pension eligibility everyday, and a good many of them do so because they are fired. And there are more than adequate grounds for McCabe to be fired.

“Told ‘ja!
When in doubt, sit it out!”

Except you and so many are bloody wrong.

#McCabe is toast. #MarchMadness is upon them. You’ll see.

I heard on the Dan Bongino Show today that they had until Sunday to fire him.

The one thing DOJ can do to McCabe is to strip him of any and all of his security clearances for LIFE.

If they have proof of professional misconduct, they can ask the Bar Association(s), federal district and states, to take away his law license and ban him from practicing for LIFE.

He could also be barred from federal buildings unless he was summoned there.

However, since he lives in Virginia, our weak-minded Governor Northam would probably give him some kind of pardon. That’s they way political corrupt Democrats operate in Virginia (McAuliffe for one; Kaine for another).

The US is like a banana republic. Those who have power and wealth never pay for their crimes. Hillary is the best example.

You changed the headline and its meaning. The linked article does not say what you claim it does.

It didn’t say he gets to keep his retirement. It says it is up to Jeff Sessons!

Says who? There’s nothing on the news tonight to suggest that this is a done deal.
The other thing is that whether he’s fired or allowed to retire, he still gets to keep his pension. The only thing that takes it away is being found guilty of a crime related to his time at the FBI. If that were to happen in the future, he would be stripped of his pension, and most likely sent to jail, where he wouldn’t need it anyway.

And American conservatives take it right up the wazzoo again! Commit treason and perjury and get a pension.
Bastards all!

This is a non-story story. It doesn’t say he was fired. It says at the time on Thursday that he plead his case against his being fired and in that hour he of course possessed his FBI entitlements.

McCabe’s future is very likely to be fired and additionally that charges will be pressed against him, according to Sara Carter.

You can tell just by looking at him and listening to him speak tbh. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt so I don’t always listen to my instincts, but that was my gut feeling.

A former Deputy Director of the FBI is going to get private sector offers of $500k and probably a lot more, like even a big law/lobby firm partnership worth millions.

NcCabe’s predecessor is security chief for Invesco, which manages $900 billion (with a ‘B’) worth of assets.

He’s not going to sing for a $100k pension although he might have other motives for doing so.
