GOP Says Voting Machines 'Miscalibrated' in District Lamb Won, Saccone Votes Switched to Lamb

Serious shenanigans may have gone down in Pennsylvania's special election on Tuesday.

From the Washington Free Beacon:

Lamb currently leads Republican Rick Saccone by just 627 votes and there are still absentee and provisional ballots that have not been tabulated, but Republicans are already preparing for the likely recount and even a possible lawsuit regarding issues at polling sites, according to a Republican source familiar with the deliberations.

"We're actively investigating three instances and likely to file court action on them," the source said.

Among the listed concerns are "miscalibrated" voting machines in Allegheny County, the only county of four in the district that went for Lamb, according to the source, who said there have been many reports of voters who intended to vote for Saccone ending up casting a ballot for Lamb.

Furthermore, Republicans say their attorneys were ejected from polling sites as the absentee ballots were still being counted and that due to confusion caused by the Pennsylvania secretary of state website people were directed to the wrong polling locations.

Republicans have demanded that all ballots and voting machines be impounded in preparation for the likely recount.

Republican sources are circulating prior investigations into Allegheny County election officials by Pittsburgh's local ABC affiliate, which found the county was hiring people with criminal records and little election experience to manage polling sites on election day.

Typical Demonrat election theft. When will anything be done about it?

Electronic voting machines should be outlawed from use in public elections.

Screw "convenience". There are things much more important than convenience. Honest elections that can be audited if need be is one of them.

Pesonally, I don't see how ANY voting without paper ballots can be trusted.

Nevada voting machines create a paper copy (that you cannot touch) of your vote that you can review before you cast your ballot. This is a good start. What they should do is pick machines at random and very publicly on video hand count the paper. Hand counting is done by both dems and pubs over and over until both the dems and pubs get the same number. This number is then compared versus the signature count, and the voter roll list is also audited, and everybody on it is tracked down. If these numbers do not all match, then this process is repeated with more randomly selected precincts.

The only problem I can see is that dems would probably rig the machines to over count repubs in states they will lose anyway to sow chaos

The miscalibration is probably just a minor software bug.

Switch (VOTE) {

case “LAMB”:

tabulate = “LAMB”;
break;

case “SACCOMB”:

tabulate = “LAMB”;
break;

default:

tabulate = “LAMB”;
break;
}

Miscalibrated? Right. I’ve worked with many touch screen applications and no calibration is usually required. You put a button on the screen and then touch it and look for a corresponding bit to be switched on. If it does it once, it will do it every time.

>> I have utter contempt for Rats.<<

My thoughts exactly, and I’m not timid about sharing them with all of my acquaintances and relatives. Some express dismay about my attitude, but all know enough not to speak favorably about any Rats in my presence. I’ve disliked the bastards since the days of Barry Goldwater, and over the years that dislike has only intensified. By the way, I also feel the same way about all RINOs.

In all fairness to her, it’s difficult to think of any Republican who isn’t utterly useless.

I hope they’re serious about fighting the dubious results of this election. More often than not, the GOP rolls over for the Dems, like the senate election in Alabama.

We need to get rid of voting machines, which are not reliable and cannot be recounted, and return to paper ballots that can be recounted. There is no election integrity with machines.

And watch California that is shifting to mail-in ballots. That will be the end of any hint of integrity there as well.

What is wrong with a person going to a polling place, properly identifying themselves, and marking a paper ballot?!

What is there to confirm the vote tally? The screen can show whatever it wants, but without paper backup, there is no way to validate the vote totals.

Electronic voting is tailor-made for fraud.

You know, it was kind of weird, even though it was Allegheny County, when the early election returns were so VERY heavily for Lamb.

A public racist. How can anyone belong to, leading even, a racist organization be giving public office? It is time to end these things, such as “Harrisburg Latino Hispanic American Community Center”. What if they opened a “Harrisburg White American Community Center”, bet people would scream.
