GOP Says Voting Machines 'Miscalibrated' in District Lamb Won, Saccone Votes Switched to Lamb

Serious shenanigans may have gone down in Pennsylvania's special election on Tuesday.

From the Washington Free Beacon:

Lamb currently leads Republican Rick Saccone by just 627 votes and there are still absentee and provisional ballots that have not been tabulated, but Republicans are already preparing for the likely recount and even a possible lawsuit regarding issues at polling sites, according to a Republican source familiar with the deliberations.

"We're actively investigating three instances and likely to file court action on them," the source said.

Among the listed concerns are "miscalibrated" voting machines in Allegheny County, the only county of four in the district that went for Lamb, according to the source, who said there have been many reports of voters who intended to vote for Saccone ending up casting a ballot for Lamb.

Furthermore, Republicans say their attorneys were ejected from polling sites as the absentee ballots were still being counted and that due to confusion caused by the Pennsylvania secretary of state website people were directed to the wrong polling locations.

Republicans have demanded that all ballots and voting machines be impounded in preparation for the likely recount.

Republican sources are circulating prior investigations into Allegheny County election officials by Pittsburgh's local ABC affiliate, which found the county was hiring people with criminal records and little election experience to manage polling sites on election day.

How about you set the starting vote for the day at 600, after you have already put 600 votes for Lamb into the system?

Paul Rynan is a P.O.S.

That guy should be removed from his position.

This is why people have such a problem with the Republican party.

How much better off this country would be if we’d only had the pols the people had actually voted for in office over the past decades.

So then I assume this “miscalibration” was deliberate? Where is our once loved FBI on this one? Oh, I know, trying to select our next Presidential Candidate...

So Allegheny county was hiring Night Train-swigging ex-cons to do their election work?

(SNORT) Switching votes is so easy to do-----the Dems do it from home----and they leave no fingerprints or DNA.

Looks like the Democrats' ITs---the Awans---- are still on the job (smirk).

“How does one “miscalibrate” a voting machine?”

A few years ago, there were Youtube videos showing this being done. One I won’t forget is a “hacker” proving to an election board that it’s possible and easy. Hacker did something that took only a couple of seconds. Then they ran a group of test ballots and he results did not match the actual ballots because of the hacked programming.

One of the election ladies — the Chairman, I think — cried. She believed it wasn’t possible. It is possible.

“I thought that throughout Pennsylvania the county polling places were overlooked by the elected Constable.”

No. Elected constables usually work on a contract basis for County Courts, delivering warrants, transporting prisoners, ....

They are elected in one area and then can work all over the state.

There is also an agreement the GOP made with the Democrats back in the 1970s not to investigate possible voter fraud in heavily minority districts and precincts, which could be construed by some as minority vote suppression, I suppose.

It was a dumb agreement, because by investigating fraud in heavily minority districts, the GOP would actually be trying to PROTECT valid votes by minority persons. They should tear it up.

The GOP shouldn’t expect to confiscate those voting machine with the machines first being “cleaned” by the Lamb supporters. That entire election sounds fishing.

I can only thank the Lord that Maryland went back to paper ballots a few years ago.

Sounds like Trump needs a special election integrity investigator task force in the AG office to catch Sorros red handed at voting machine manipulation.

Guys,

The voting machine calibration is doubtful... You must not only select your vote with a touch screen, but must then review your vote so if miscalibration caused the wrong name to be selected on the selection screen, even if you weren’t paying attention the review screen will show you what vote it took before you actually confirm your vote.

Could some folks not catch a 3 step process that asks you to confirm didn’t work? Perhaps, but not that many.

The R’s lost... they ran a terribly messaged campaign, never reached out to the not traditional R voters let alone the I and D voters who voted for Trump in 2016. Reality is this thing never should have been closer than 8 points, even with a lackluster candidate....

Even if you find a few hundred votes to swing it back to Saccone.. it doesn’t change much. The R’s completely choked and threw this race away.... Not the rank and file workers, they busted their butts, I know they did, but the leadership absolutely blew it.

9 months a new district has another election. Hopefully the R will have their damned act together by then.... because the messaging given in this race assures Democrats will retake the house easily.

If they were not impounded the night of the election then I don't see what good it will do now. They've had a day and a half to hide the calibration.

“I think the Republican party got the result it wanted.”

Yep. The sooner they can get back to business as usual the better for them.

Traitors.
