Nope, I can’t even consider getting up early enough to be ready to leave the house by 6:30 to meet up with the other gals who go up there. Just not in me. Been a “vampire” too long. LOL!
They do a great job and our group is well represented.
You WERE up late tonight! I’ve lined up a few tunes for the weekend and am outta here too. Catch ya tomorrow.

((HUGS))Good morning, MEG33. How’s it going?
(((HUGS))) All is well here.
Beautiful!
Well...here goes.
Did LOTS of shoveling.
More power outages...including two of my customers, and since, everybody uses electric keyboards now instead of real pianos..no lesson.
Penny is back to her normal self! HUZZAH!
Last night, my sister lost power, but I did not. So she, her husband, and two wild and wonderful 4-year-old twin boys evacuated...to MY house! LOL!
I found out that Cable has a “Kid’s Zone” so we watched “The Minions” all night, and set up my living room for a sleepover.
Penny had fun for a while, but then retreated to my bedroom to sleep on her “pink princess” doggie bed.
I have completed a portrait of Penny, and will take a picture of it to post soon.
Meanwhile, Sis’s power is back, and everything is back to normal!
Except for the 10-foot mountains of dirty snow outside! :-)
A friend and USAF pilot who attended pilot training with my husband recommended the book, “Eleven Days of Christmas: America’s Last Vietnam Battle.” Our friend flew B-52’s as well as a Spooky in Vietnam. We talked about Operation Linebacker II which ended the Vietnam War. He told me he lost several friends in this Operation. He recommended the book “The Eleven Days of Christmas: Americas Last Vietnam Battle” which tells the story of Operation Linebacker II. I looked the book up on Amazon and thought I would share it with you. Anyone who was or still is a pilot will find this a good read.

Thank you for the recommendation, ETR.
We were just this week praying for the Vietnam POWs, many of whom were pilots, on the AMERICA Prayer Vigil. Check out the video link at the bottom of the opening post #1, and also my post #13.
Stop around to the Vigil threads and pray for our country and administration any time. We pray in Jesus' name on many occasions, but also mark Jewish holidays and pray a Psalms fromthe Hebrew Bible every day.
Late as always, Meg, but thank you so much for always being there to honor our troops. ((HUGS))
Catching up.....
You had quite an adventure and a FULL house! Fantabulous that you both did not lose power and you were able to provide shelter.
LOL about Penny and the visitors. Mom, I’ve had enough and I need some peace and quiet.
Be careful shoveling!!!
Catching up......
Thanks, ExTexas, for the story and link. Sounds like quite a story.
When the children come here, they empty the basket of Penny’s toys all over the living room.
Penny gets confused, because usually she only plays with one toy at a time...and here she has these two little blond hooligans throwing ALL of them at her! LOL!
