The far left Right Wing Watch is not happy that Mike Pompeo will be the next Secretary of State. RWW says he’s too hard on Islamists and too much of a Christian.

Pompeo, who would become the country’s top diplomat, has repeatedly framed the fight against terrorism as a war between Christianity and Islam, as The Intercept reported in detail when he was nominated to head the CIA:
“This threat to America,” Pompeo told a church group in Wichita in 2014, is from a minority of Muslims “who deeply believe that Islam is the way and the light and the only answer.”
“They abhor Christians,” Pompeo said, “and will continue to press against us until we make sure that we pray and stand and fight and make sure that we know that Jesus Christ is our savior is truly the only solution for our world.”
In 2013, after the Boston Marathon bombing, Pompeo declared on the House floor that Islamic community leaders who do not repeatedly and publicly speak out against terrorist acts are “potentially complicit” in those acts.

I agree. Rex was a bad pick. He never seemed to embrace the fact that he was there to run POTUS’ agenda, not his own.
My wifes uncle was in the CIA for 35 years. Politically he was nuts. Must be something in the water that turns them all rabid.

Post #4. - agreed. I worked with DOS as a military officer. While there are some good people there, I am afraid the State adept is Deep State Central and a hot bed of Communism, Anti-Americanism, and narcissism.

Trump is a project oriented, not process oriented. Each appointee is for a specific project. Government is not usually run this way. I expect lots of turnover as each goal us accomplished.
