I believe Bob Gates was one of the people who recommended Tillerson—the same Bob Gates who went along with the Obama Administration on just about everything, then wrote a whiny “tell all” book after he retired. He could have made a big difference when he was in position, but he chose to always cave and be everybody’s boy. Why Trump chose Tillerson is beyond me—he's a guy with no real experience other than in one industry.
