Lamb leads Saccone in poll released on eve of special election

Conor Lamb will win Western Pennsylvania's special election race for Congress on Tuesday if there is a surge in Democratic turnout similar to what has been seen in other special elections over the past year, according to a Monmouth University poll out Monday.

The Monmouth poll's “Democratic surge” model shows Lamb collecting 51 percent of the vote compared with Saccone's 45 percent, while 1 percent of likely voters would opt for a third-party candidate and 3 percent remain undecided. The poll's margin of error is 5.1 percent.

Monmouth said Lamb holds a slim advantage within the margin of error, 49 percent to 47 percent, if the election has a lower turnout similar to what is normally seen in midterm elections. If turnout is higher across the board, similar to a presidential election year, Lamb would defeat Saccone, 51 percent to 44 percent.

Saccone held an advantage over Lamb in all three polling scenarios last month.

The poll that matters is tomorrow, but this is no time to be playing games with the Second Amendment or the flow of cheap labor into the country.

The Dems have no doubt been working day and night for months like busy beavers to win this race. Meanwhile, the lazy GOP thinks they can just coast and then campaign the last couple weeks.

Did you come here thinking we old timers here would allow you to influence us? and tell us how the world works..and how you all know more than posters that have been here following politics for 20 years know?

I say take a walk and go to DU ...

Compare this to the other races, including Georgia’s last year, and virtually no one is talking about this race at all - when it is mentioned, it is only in passing. The Georgia race it was all hands on deck, everyone was talking about it constantly for weeks leading up to it on all national talk radio shows - Rush, Hannity and everyone else - spending significant time pushing GOTV, pay attention to this race, etc. not just the day of, but again, weeks leading up to it. In this race - virtually no discussion at all. I don’t get it.

The district is so GOP leaning that sometimes Dems don’t even bother running a candidate in this district.

Republicans, Conservatives, Independents, Industrial Labor Union Members (Coal, Oil, Steel, Aluminum, Auto, etc.), Blue Dog Democrats, Middle Class Americans, Cops, Firemen, First Responders, Military Folks, Screwed Democrats, etc., you have a golden opportunity to destroy the Democrat Party tomorrow.

By casting your precious votes tomorrow, to vote for & elect Republican, Rick Saccone to be your new Congressmen in the PA-18th-CD and defeating Democrat, Conor “Owned by Nancy Pelosi” Lamb, you will have married yourselves to last week’s devastating defeat to all Democrats in the Texas Primary. The defeat of Democrat, Conor Lamb sets up the entire Democrat Party for massive losses, in the upcoming Mid-Term elections, this coming November.

Folks in western Pennsylvania, remember the last eight years of Obama, Clinton, Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, remember the closed factories, the massive layoffs, the losses of your good paying jobs, the layoffs, the broken families, the lost future, remember your shop stewards and union leaders continued to support these Democrat fakes who cared less about your jobs, your families, your children, your future. Shucks, they care more for Illegal Criminals & Illegal Aliens then they ever cared for you. You folks were the middle class gals & guys who worshiped only guns & religion.

But, one guy, POTUS, Donald J. Trump was with you and, now the jobs are coming back, you are working and growing once again....the time has come for you to support POTUS, Donald J. Trump and vote for Republican, Rick Saccone to be your next Congressman from PA-18th-CD. Do it...Go POTUS, Donald J. Trump....Go Rick Saccone, Go....MAGA!!! Turnout, Turnout, Turnout & vote for Rick Saccone, tomorrow, Tuesday, March 13, 2018!!!

He said they would turn out in 2016 numbers while GOP would turnout less. He didn’t say the Democrats weren’t motivated in 2016.

A Democrat district? In a Dem wave election, the GOP candidate had his closest margin of victory 16 points. Democrats at times don’t even field a candidate to run in this district it is so strongly GOP. If this seat is lost it will be wall to wall coverage about how it is over for the GOP and Trump, etc. The donor class will close their wallets considering 2018 a lost cause.

Monmouth is crap. Their polls were the most pro-Hillary of the 2016 presidential election; they said she was ahead by twelve points mere weeks before losing.

Great post! Go Trump! Vote for Rick Saccone!

From the Gravis .pdf:

"How likely are you to vote in the PA-18 Congressional Special Election?

Somewhat likely: 13%

Likely: 17%

Very Likely: 70%"

So, it's Turnout, Turnout, Turnout! Grab your neighbor, go get Uncle Joe in the Nursing Home, do whatever you can! This is Big! We'll never hear the end of it if Saccone loses! Go for it!

Bears repeating:

"One guy, POTUS, Donald J. Turnout, Turnout, Turnout & vote for Rick Saccone, tomorrow, Tuesday, March 13, 2018!!!"
