On 12-14 March 2018, H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey will pay a visit to Moscow to attend the Sixth Turkish-Russian Joint Strategic Planning Group Meeting, a sub-mechanism of the Turkish-Russian High Level Cooperation Council (HLCC).
At the Joint Strategic Planning Group Meeting co-chaired by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, the sides will have comprehensive exchange of views on bilateral relations as well as the current regional and international affairs of common interest.
This meeting will also lay the groundwork for the HLCC to be held in Turkey this year under the co-chairmanship of H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey, and H.E. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation.
During his stay in Moscow, H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will pay a visit to the Moscow International Travel & Tourism Exhibition (MITT), deliver a speech on Turkish Foreign Policy at the MGIMO University, and meet with chief editors of prominent Russian media.
What surprises me? It is the 6th joint Turkey-Russia meeting.
And it is the groundwork for next meeting in Turkey.
What did green light to Turkey concerning Efrin give to Russia?
Is Turkey planning to leave NATO?
Your Opinion?

Ultimately, it is about which Muslims will take over Western Europe.
Turkey wants the Ottoman Turks to do it, the US and NATO want the Saudi, UAE, Qatari group in charge.
Erdogan is trying to buy Russian support.
Qatari and Turkey are the same. Qatar pays Turkey’s bills.
Yes the ultimate aim is exactly what you stated.
Currently True, this is for economic purposes, Qatar will ship none of it's anticipated bonanza natural gas to Western Europe without Turkey's or Russia's cooperation, and currently pays Turkey in anticipation.
End game of this will likely be a much disappointed (think anger), Qatar selling their gas cheap with Russia or Turkey taking the lion's share of the profits.
