A 22-year-old woman claims that she was fired from her job as a social worker simply because she has a concealed handgun permit, not because she actually had her gun with her near work. Durham is a victim of sexual assault who apparently got her permit because she was fearful that her attacker would retaliate against her.

In the long run she may be grateful she was fired. Ever checked the salaries for social worker? She likely will do better at any other occupation, with fewer hazards.

I read a partial story on this yesterday. She was fired for other reasons according to that report. Because as a permit holder she might be armed, they had armed officers escort her from her office building.

They are trying to defend themselves by saying her boyfriend was targeting her at work with a weapon. Solution, fire her instead of defending her.

And what’s even worse than state officials allegedly abridging constitutionally enumerated protections is this imo.
Even though the states have given Congress the express power to make punitive laws to discourage state officials from abridging constitutionally enumerated protections, we still have a corrupt, post-17th Amendment (17A) ratification Congress left over from the lawless Obama administration that will predictably not lift a finger to make laws to strengthen the rights of citizens from state abridgment of those protections.
This is why citizens need to finish the job that they started when they elected Trump president in 2018.
More specifically, patriots now need to be making sure that there are plenty of Trump-supporting, Constitution-respecting patriots on the 2018 primary ballots who will do their duty to protect citizens from state governments that abridge constitutionally enumerated rights, and pink-slip career lawmakers by sending patriot candidate lawmakers to DC on election day.
And until the states wake up and repeal 17A, as evidenced by concerns about the integrity of Alabama's special Senate election, patriot candidates need to win elections by a large enough margin to compensate for possible deep state ballot box fraud and associated MSM scare tactics.

Usually I'm not one to jump on the bandwagon, but I do believe that her gun license was what got her fired. Not the license per se, but the fact that she works in a traditionally female group...and women can be viscous! All it takes is one bitch with a big mouth to not like you and one who jumps on the latest social crime, that bitch can make enough trouble that management gives in to her and fires someone just to shut her up.
Social workers work with clients that belong in the nut ward. Ne needed to be packin’.
Well we know the Left loves victims. So they do everything to make more of them.
With her settlement she won’t have to work anymore and can spend more time at the range and carrying her gun around.
