An obvious and natural reaction to a president that had swung radically to Left of any previous president.
A new generation of politicians came into power whose core policy beliefs were well outside the mainstream. They were extraordinarily hardline in their stance against immigration.
Again, a natural reaction to a president that had plotted a course to change the fabric of American culture and politics through immigration. Flooding the country with third world immigrants will drive politics in the country to Left. Bringing in millions of unskilled immigrants to this country will swamp the social welfare system and drive up deficit spending.
They had little tolerance for criminal justice reform to achieve racial justice.
Why should they. There is no justice in ‘racial justice’. The phrase ‘Justice is Blind’ is a ancient truth. Justice must look at the facts and only the facts. No man should receive different treatment under the Law because of his race. If one man can assault a man and walk away unpunished because of the color of his skin there is no justice.
They hated the Affordable Care Act and financial regulations.
Of course they did. Everything about ObamaCare was an assault upon the foundations of this country. It was passed illegally in congress and against the obvious will of the people. Dodd-Frank was nothing more than a power grab by congress meant to bring in campaign contributions. The bill did nothing to combat bank fraud and simply added so much regulatory compliance cost on small banks that they can not compete with the big banks.
The Obama administration add so much regulatory cost to the US economy in all sectors that he slowed the recovery of the economy to a crawl. It was inevitable that any new administration that did anything to alleviate that burden would spark a sharp acceleration in the economy.
Trump did that in spades and we are all reaping the whirlwind of prosperity.

Look at the number of professors who are crazy. No wonder our kids can’t learn the truth or at least how to think objectively.

This is one of the more dangerous ideas pushed by the Left, and that is saying something.
This idea led directly to Nickolas Cruz and 17 dead in Parkland. Because the law wasn’t enforced to make the numbers “look right” on juvenile law enforcement by race/ethnicity, he didn’t have any events that would have prevented him from buying a firearm on his record. This despite a large number of brushes with law enforcement that should have resulted in exactly that.
At root, it is an article of faith by the Left that any difference in crime rate by race is because of racism in the system, and not because certain minorities commit crime at higher rates. Which latter is plainly the case if you look at murder rates by race of the perp, for example.
The public policy discussion on this aspect of Democrat orthodoxy should be extensive in the wake of Parkland, but instead we are talking about the same old gun control bromides, which is absurd.
The only thing that will silence these maniacs is a Civil War.
Obama and Holder instituted the policy that led to the Parkland massacre but that’s the NRA’s fault.
With liberals, there’’s no cause and effect. When something goes wrong, that’s a feature not a flaw.
And they always get the benefit of the doubt for their wrong-headed solutions. Like gun control.
