Comparing the total employment per month to the bottom of the great recession in Feb 2010, Obama’s best month before the Trump Election was 11.8%. Upon Trump’s election it surged to 12.0% and has gone up every month since and is now at 14.2%, which is 2.4% better than Obama’s best month ... and he had 96 months to choose from.
From the day of Obama’s election to the bottom in Feb 2010, which is the same comparative period as from Trump’s election, Obama took the Bush numbers down by
4.5% in those 14 months. It took Obama another 36 months to bring it back to what Bush left him with. So 50 of Obama’s 96 months Obama was in the hole. Only in the last 46 Obama months did the economy start to grow beyond the lowest number of the Bush era.
More of the residual effects of Obama’s policies, I’m sure!
