Well the main booster crashed in the sea...so 2 out of 3 ain’t bad!
Didn't know that! But honestly, I remain skeptical of the economic utility of booster recovery.
It seems to me that everything works against it. Here it is boosting away, when ... oops! gotta stop so I can land.
So, obviously, you've got to have a much bigger self landing booster to provide the same utility as an expendable booster, so it seems to me that all the factors tilt in favor of the expendable booster. All the factors, that is, except the visuals.
